I only use this lazy, vapid, poorly balanced game for long range tracking practice with Soldier. It serves no purpose beyond that. Bring back Overwatch 1 and hire devs with talent and a moral compass while you're at it Blizz.

Fallout 4 is the second game in the Skyrim series and a worthy successor to 2011's game of the year. Fallout 4 is a rather odd sequel given that it takes place in a post-nuclear society not unlike our own, instead of a high fantasy magical world. I much prefer the Fallout setting as it is a vessel for very immersive and politically charged decisions amongst 4 incredibly well developed and equally viable factions. Fallout 4 has an immaculate combat system featuring a multitude of guns all of which have their own strengths and are never render obsolete with progression. The incredible depth of the crafting system extends this quality into the late end game and even post-game. Quests are of an incredibly sophisticated quests which dynamically affect the world in many ways and always provide a balanced challenge that is satisfying to both the hardcore and casual players. Let's not forget the universally improved companions system when compared to it's predecessor Skyrim. In Skyrim, Serana was the only companion with extended depth. In fallout 4 all companions barring Dogmeat, eclipse Serana in every regard, with ways to improve your standing with them or fail them. This ensures that your companions will have weight to your playthrough and that you will feel realistic satisfying consequences for your interactions with them. The only issue I really have with the game is that they didn't bring back the shouts or magic systems from Skyrim, but it doesn't necessarily fit the setting, so I can overlook it as a minor disappointment. Overall Fallout 4 is a worthy successor and of equal prestige to it's acclaimed older brother Skyrim and a game that should be played by all.
