This review will be directed mainly at people who have played mobas: If you like league of legends/other mobas, but want a game with a harder learning curve, this game is for you.

Last hitting takes timing, you can deny creeps to deny your lane opponents gold and 50% exp, and your hero doesn't turn instantly.
For those who have played LoL before, this game is a CC-fest. Stuns feel like they last forever, Silences do too.
Towers are paper thin and deal absolutely no damage (so don't feel safe under them mid to late game)

Sadly, this game is just as toxic as LoL community-wise. I have played with kind and friendly players but it's not a reliable thing to count on.
Dota 2 has a lot of things that would be considered overpowered in league/other mobas.
Illusions that you can control? Plenty of them. An item that completely refreshes your cooldowns? It's there.
Lanes are typically 2-1-2 with jungle not so much being a "role" that one person strictly commits to, but a way for everyone on your team to farm to get additional gold/exp when the lanes are pushed out.

Graphically, the game is good. It looks nice, and not visually overwhelming.
Plus, you can equip different announcers, including a rick and morty announcer. Yes, you read that right.

I'm not going to give this game a rating out of 10 or 100 or anything, but I will say that it's worth a play. If you like League, Heroes of Newerth, Smite, etc but want a classic moba experience, why not play the game that started it all?
Would recommend.
