Beat this on PS4 a few years ago, a game that deserves so much praise and way more sells.
Great musicv, combat that isn't too hard, but thats a bonus to me so I can heart the tunes. Shame it didn't get the love HIFI rush (which is great) did even thoough it came out years before Hifi.

The wait was worth it. Psychonauts 2 is one of those rare sequels where it keeps the same feel of its predecessor, while improving on where it fell short. The characters sound and look great, the visuals are stunning, the music is a masterpiece in both how it sounds and how appropriate yet unobtrusive it is, and the platforming is super tight. The main powers make a comeback with some great new ones and a neat little upgrade system to take the place of camp ranks. The story is gripping and can get dark at times but deals with the heavy topics with respect and uses comedy to help lighten. It deals respectfully with the concepts of doubt, anxiety, sensory overload, and more mental problems while promoting kindness and understanding about those conditions, and forgiveness for those who have done wrong. One of my few gripes would be the combat but it's not horrible it just exists and you do it to progress to the next great platform or story section.

TLDR: 15 years were definitely not wasted making this psychic masterpiece, and will likely cause the cult following of Psychonauts to grow even further. Very few games make me stand up and pay attention nowadays but this did it and makes me cherish it even more. If you like platforming and great storytelling with animations filled with life and personality, this is a must buy.

RGG does it again and brings a great game. Also one of the funnest JRPGs I have played in a loooong time. Be Ichiban the himbo ex-yakuza homeless man and his party as he deludes himself through horrible situations and snitches on everyone!

It has rough edges obviously. Still enjoy it. Plus I get a chuckle out of the Tposing club goers. Imagine in my head that its some weird club tradition to assert dominance instead of a bug.

Early Access Review
I haven't ploayed this game much but I'm liking it. It really feels akin to the Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts game. So if you liked that game I bet you will enjoy this one.

Its a bit dated and the community is nice. The game UI takes some getting used to but it really does feel like Fallout NV Online. And its pretty enjoyable. I suggest playing it.
