EASILY one of the best and most amazing games that I have ever played! I am not really a major fan of games like these, as I don't really find the story very interesting or captivating. When I first started up the game, I hesitated on whether or not I wanted to continue playing. When it comes to story based games, or really anything that isn't action-based or a first-person shooter, I tend to lose interest quickly, but when it came to this game, I was captivated within the first 5-10 minutes of gameplay. I then decided to give it a try and continue playing, only to end up completing the whole thing in a singular session of a few hours. As soon as I continued the story and delve deeper into the plot, I just couldn't stop.

Not only was this game fantastic because of its gameplay, but the story, art, and music all really tied the whole thing together. The story made me not want to leave the game, and had me wanting to continue for hours on end. The story really made me feel like I wasn't necessarily a player, but more of an actual element within the storyline, as if I had been included into the writing of the game. I felt like I was a part of the character's life, as if I had an actual connection to their own life. I wasn't controlling a character, I was a character, interacting with the other characters within the story, each with their own personality. Many compare this game to Undertale, but I believe that, though they may be alike, this one is on a whole different level. Whether you liked or disliked Undertale, this game is so different and captivating that it utterly outshines anything else.

The art of the game was beautiful as well. I've always been a sucker for pixel graphic games, but the colours, music, and atmosphere of this game really help tie everything together. The simple colours throughout the game feel so complex and signify so much, as well as invoke a very strong sense of atmosphere of the location. The music is beautifuly done as well, and everytime I hear any of the soundtrack, I am filled with nostalgia and a strong wave of emotion. I can never listen to the songs outside of the game without having a feeling of emptiness, a feeling for a need to continue the story and keep on living as a part of this game's world.

The puzzles are also very intruiging, and nothing at all like any other game I have ever played. In order to avoid any spoilers, I HIGHLY reccomend that you play this game. I prefer not to give away anything that may cause you to have a less fulfilling experience in the game, so please just at least give it a try! I have reccomended this game to all of my friends, even buying a copy for a good friend of mine.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just take this game for a spin. If you don't think that it's a game you'd enjoy, at least give it a try. I was under the same situation of putting off actually playing it, and once I did, I couldn't stop until I finished it. And now, this game is, without a doubt, number one on my list of favourite games.
