I have 3.7k hours of this game which used to be "great" but now is "bad". Why? Graphics wise it's outdated, it's not skil based or ruthless anymore and it's player base is very toxic. The dev and design teams focus on making money publishing skins and making the game easier for new players while ignoring the longtime requests from veterans who loved how unforgiving the game used to be. Through all of this they "improved" matchmaking by assigning a pseudo-ranking between 6 and 1 star to each player (with too small a elo gap between them), but never added the possibility of playing "2+1 random" vs trios.

This is not a good game and i wouldn't recommend it over Fortnite or other games of the same genre. This doesn't mean it is a bad one either... The game itself has some good fundamentation, cool gameplay, style, decent graphics, but still it lacks on the basics of a competitive shooter and by this I'm referring to good servers that take count of at least ALMOST every shot (PUBG's server are not even worth mentioning), and good performance, because pubg has many performance issues, making fps drops frequently, gamers with better rigs have a huge advantage when up against lower end computers.
SO if you want a battle royal game and you like playing tps i would recommend you to go for another game, Fortnite's allways an option, but if you're like me and only like fps than you don't have many options.
I play PUBG every day, I get mad at it 'cause the game sucks and I won't recommend such game.
