After being as patient as possible with this game, it's become (in my personal opinion) the game of the year.
Don't say anything about the story until you've reached the end and confronted Von Aulitz. The payoff and genuine writing is there, and it hits hard.

The combat isn't much to look at, learn masterstrikes early and never lose a single combat encounter ever. Seriously, I think the only times I've died are to fall damage trying to skyrim climb hillsides and mountains.

The armor and actual accuracy to 15th century bohemia is still there, and even more so since handgonnes are introduced, since they've actually been a thing since the 13th century.

Romance is okayish, I feel being able to ♥♥♥♥ Hans Capon is a bit out of left fieldish but not too weird, but still most people already have romanced theresa in the first game and that's exactly what I did. But since you control the buttons you press, thankfully Hans is still my bro, and nothing more.

solid 9/10. There are some horribly tedious missions, but it makes up for it and more from the story and the side missions.

PS please play the mouth of hell side quest once you reach kuttenburg. Probably my favorite side mission in the entire game.
