This game's been out a while, which works as a benefit and a detriment. The benefit being the support you can find and get from the community is stellar, most issues you will run into will have plenty of workarounds and solutions from the community. The detriment being... well its an old and cranky game, heavily modding it (which is normal across the community) will cause it to scream, cry, and protest the whole way through. There are errors in the game that are considered "normal" and expected to exist, the lack of such error is usually cause for concern.

On the whole, Arma 3 is a fun game with a vast community. Despite the woes and frustrations with modding it i cannot recommend it enough. Find yourself a community that does what you're looking for out of this tactical-ultra-serious-military-simulation where you can wear cat ears. I wish i was joking.
