NASCAR 25 is a great first entry into NASCAR console gaming for iRacing. If you're looking for a racing sim; this is not it. This is a console racing game meant for casual, fun racing. The graphics and audio are great for a NASCAR game. The race day presentation is interesting and differs between which series you are running.

The AI is competitive with plenty of sliders for customization. I enjoy playing with the AI set to 104 difficulty and running custom setups in career mode. They're difficult, but beatable. You can also set the AI super low and run away with the win.

The career mode is a great building block for iRacing. NASCAR 25's career mode has quite a bit of depth with parts management, crew and staff members, and 4 different series to work your way through. My major complaint with the career mode is only being able to have one sponsor available at a time. If you sign a new sponsor, you lose your previous sponsor.

The other major complaint I have is the paint booth. There are very limited shapes available to choose from, and you are limited to only 7 layers. There is no mirroring function, no flipping, no grouping, and no ability to share your schemes or designs with other players.

There is no cross-play available for online play. This essentially has killed online for PC. There is also no local multiplayer, although I don't believe that is an issue for many PC users.

I would recommend picking NASCAR 25 up if you're looking for a great NASCAR career mode experience with fun, competitive AI.

Old Time Hockey is a great arcade style hockey game for Steam. The story is fun and engaging with different challenges to complete each game. The gameplay is fun, challenging, and addictive. No two games play out the same way. I'm 7 hours into Old Time Hockey and I am still learning new mechanics and methods for beating up the other team.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Steam will ever get any NHL games. But Old Time Hockey is a fantastic arcade option with a cool 70's aesthetic. Great value!

The game itself is great. I had played this game off and on for 20+ years on multiple different accounts. The saying that "you never quit, you just take breaks" is mainly true.

Unfortunately the company that runs this great game is terrible. Jagex has the absolute WORST player support of all time. They claim to have made improvements to their player support system, now offering two attempts at an appeal to be reviewed by a human. My appeals were both denied immediately with the EXACT SAME copy paste response. Player support absolutely does not exist for the everyday player. You MUST be a content creator to qualify for player support.

The issue I ran into was my account being false-banned for "illegal third party software." The evidence provided for this offense was... nothing. There is no evidence. They refuse to provide me with any evidence. It is a case of "we said so." Their automated bot detection determined that I'm a bot. The only software I've ever used to play OSRS was Runelite and the official mobile app.

The high scores for every single boss killcount is filled with bots. Jagex cannot identify bots even if their username is literally "I AM A BOT." They proudly post on social media about how they ban hundreds of thousands of bots each month like its a trophy. Its a pathetic attempt at getting in the good graces of the community. Unfortunately many player are victim of false bans. It is impossible to get support from Jagex, or the community, because they've led everyone to believe they don't falsely ban players.

So my recommendation? Don't waste your time if you plan on playing fairly. You'll probably end up catching a false ban anyways. Bot to your hearts content and don't bother getting attached to any of your accounts. They probably won't catch you anyways. Just legit players.

Rocket League can be a super casual game to play with your friends. You'll spend hours laughing and trying your best to hit the ball just to whiff but you keep coming back for more. It is fun for the whole family.

Then you try and get better, and you think you're getting really good at the game. When you get better at Rocket League you realize just how bad you truly are. The skill ceiling is unbelievably high. Watch a few RLCS matches and you will see that there really is no skill ceiling. Players keep getting better with every passing year.

For me, Rocket League is a 10/10 game. I started playing the game on a free play weekend on Xbox in 2017. I started the game not expecting much. But that weekend with friends was the most fun I've had on a game in a long time. I was instantly hooked. We would talk about Rocket League while at work all day, anxiously waiting to get home to hop on the game and play for hours on end. We organized tournaments with friends at work to determine who was the "best" Rocket League player.

After several hundred hours on Xbox I made the switch to PC. I fell in love with trading items and improving my rank. The switch to PC instantly improved my performance. I jumped an entire rank just from the increase in frame rate and input delay. I was having a blast with this game.

Epic Games purchased Rocket League and eventually removed trading and turned the game free-to-play. I was disappointed in the removal of item trading, but the change to free-to-play was a welcome one. I had many more friends try the game and enjoy it. The game in its current state is a shell of its former self. I still highly recommend the game to new players. Its worth the time to check it out!
