Guess about time to try and summarize something here now that I am sitting after a couple hours of playing - thumbs hurting, frustrated, in a good mood.

Tape to Tape really catches that old 16-bit era of Hockey in its actual hockey-game play, combined with the combinations of power-ups and story of a rogue-lite.

The first couple of rounds I played of this as the Early Access dropped - started overall quite poorly, losing the first introductory game in 16 seconds. I mean - I can do better.

Round two I lost in 6 seconds. So officially getting worse apparently. But then after some attempts you get the hang of everything - maybe your muscle memory starts to remember all those hours of NHL94, or you just brute-force your brain into getting more into this, figuring what works and what not, somehow making your way to the end Boss-battle of Act 2.

Then you lose.

And start over again, and maybe lose that first elite game like 4-5 times in a row because HECK you buddy, thought this was going to be easy?

Are you getting worse? Or is it more likely, just like when you were younger and played those old hockey games on the SNES, the controller that is crap?

As always, its obviously the latter, controllers man - how do they actually work?

TTT/T2T (however you prefer to shorten it) - at least for me drags me in, keeps me going, gotta get those "Rubber" in order to upgrade my attributes, or unlock new players, or unlock more power-ups for the main superstar.

the Campaign is a hoot - frustrating at times, as it should be - but still a hoot.

Now my thumbs are hurting but I want more.

This game is just brilliant, simple, easy to pick up, hard to master.

A lot of players, fun to play alone or with friends. Its just an awesome game.

After some initial issues getting the game started, and help from developer to help me resolve the issue, the game has worked flawlessly.

Fun racing, takes some time to get used to the handling, but looks to be something great and would recommend this greatly if one is into some fun racing. Without a doubt. :)
