Left 4 Dead 2's early development included a unique Beta build of Left 4 Dead 2 with content that no longer resides in the final product. It can only be properly played on the E3 Convention Floors back in the summer of 2009, and never publicly released to any platform. The Left 4 Dead 2 Beta is looked back upon as a unique Left 4 Dead 2 experience that seems to be forever locked away.

I oversee a talented team called Sourcerer which includes animators, 3D modelers, sound designers, graphic designers, scripters, public relations, etc... that share the collective thought of restoring Left 4 Dead 2's E3 Beta era. The goal is to bring the Beta into modern-day Left 4 Dead 2 via a mod pack that will simulate the E3 Demo in the most accurate way possible.

The project's design philosophy is solely based on the footage captured at the E3 2009 convention. My team and I would take a section frame-by-frame, pixel-by-pixel, and mimic the exact item, its placement, and its corresponding layout to truly bring the authenticity to light. In addition to my team, the project also includes the assistance of plenty of collaborators located on the Steam Workshop platform, therefore providing/donating their additional materials and assets to help us with our cause.

I could not be happier to preserve a unique aspect of gaming history and video game preservation as a whole. Consider it an alternate Left 4 Dead 2 reality!
