In awe at how good the controls and mechanics are. It just feels so right.

DARK SOULS IIIII Nightreign

Unlike what you may have heard, DS2 does not actually have better enemy layouts than SOTFS, at least not 100%. Some areas feel lacking in comparison, and some are absolutely cooked. Drangleic Castle for example is somehow a bigger mess here. You should still experience both nonetheless.

Can't load maps quick enough so I get replaced by a bot and fail to join matches in the end. Main menu not only looks awful but it also lags my PC harder than the actual in game.

Update: I actually can't get into any game, period. Wonderful.

Read about this version of the game a few years back and heard nothing but negativity towards the game's performance. Haven't ran into any problems whatsoever. The loading times would be jaw dropping to my 13 year old self.

PSA: Don't bother unless you have an Xbox controller.

I wish I could buy this game.

DS2LightingEngine revived this version of DS2 for me and I simply can't go back to vanilla.

Updating master data...(14.34 / 14.34MB). This thing lasts forever. Reinstalling doesn't work. Claims to be downloading but I bet the game isn't even receiving any internet connection whatsoever. Just makes you wait for no reason then brings up an error.

Edit: Apparently I need VPN to actually get the download to work for some reason. The rest of the game loads fine without VPN.
