I played both the ROR1 and ROR2 (and loved both) but I can't justify the existence of this one. Such an undeniable cash grab. I knew what I was getting into, but still disappointed at how it's literally just a re-published and ever-so-slightly polished version of the original.

I have a 2080 Super and a 3900X and I quite literally cannot play this game at more than 2 FPS.

Insanely negligent, but completely unsurprising that the developers would be so greedy as to release the game in this state.

The videos for this game make it almost look like a joke, but it's very fun and whimsical. Gameplay very comparable to risk of rain, with focus on weapons rather than classes and abilities.

It's really entertaining. Way better than I expected. This is a steal at $10. Multiplayer co-op works flawlessly.

this game sucks

At the time of this review, I have not played too much of the game; It's easy to get the gist of though. You are the sole survivor of a plane crash, you have a kid or something, and you have to get crap to survive if you want to survive. You get an axe that was for some reason on the plane, it's conviniently(sp) out in the open on the way out of the plane.

Anyway, you build your house, or more likely on the first night run around looking at things until night comes, at which point cannibal mutants come out and either look at/inspect you or run at you. The AI for these guys is pretty impressive. They often will look you down until you look away, at which point they rush you. If one gets a hit on you, they all start swarming.

I won't spoil any more of the plot. It's pretty repetitive but each playthrough is very different. Anyway, these mutants are terrifying, and naked. So that's one thing to consider if you're planning on a kid playing this. No nipples or ♥♥♥♥♥, but breasts and booties. Anyway: Pros and cons.
