devs turned it into a proper cashgrab, ripped out the original gameplay that made it good. took all of the stuff away that was good from the base game and just left it with ♥♥♥♥. don't give any money to these devs lol.

give me my favorite game back, it's been too long

definitely was an interesting game for my childhood, but uh i'd recommend for groups of friends you can do so much on this game really fun for gamenights.

600 hours at the time, still having fun. fair warning for those getting into the game, expect bugs. despite the continuous bugs i still like the game and if you aren't thinking of getting it right now, id consider getting it in a year when it's gotten through its rough patch.

Edit: 1 Year later the game has definitely seen some improvements I really hope they continue to improve and show us a world where the content doesnt become dry and the the game flourishes. I came back to new world after they announced brimstone sands and fresh starts after not having played since january. They did well all the quality of life changes etc. However I lost that spark that made me want to keep playing and i am sitting at 1116 hours played now, the game itself is definitely worth the time and experiences. A lot of politics and older people playing the game, large amounts of gold sellers and problem ridden communities with drama. However despite all the problems I still have hope for a better future of new world and would still recommend trying the game out.
