First things first. If you genuinely thought EA's Battlefront was going to do any good for this series please remove yourself from the gene pool educate yourself as to why EA are so disliked, in particular for killing the team that made this great game, RIP.

Now do yourself a favour and buy this game for almost 60x less the price of the EA reboot (at the time of writing) and it's inevitable sequel and recieve almost 600x* [ps4daily.com] more content, both single and in multiplayer, ability to mod and simultaneously laugh in the face of the publisher that tried to recreate and cash in on a series a damn good team of developers spent their time on, before they were fired by said team in the name of "cost cutting". The same company that now spends tons in marketing and fake PR stunts as damage control for bad games ("but we support gay rights! buy our barely finished game!") instead of using it to make good games.

I realise I've spent alot of time talking about EAfront and if god forbid it was on steam I'd put this review there but this game isn't good just because EAfront is bad. My hours on PC are miniscule compared to the days of when I still used my Xbox and discovered this game had online. Because the single player experience is so fleshed out through a dedicated campaign along with other game modes like galatic conquest you won't find yourself finished it in 6-8 hours and then filling out your hours with multi. Multiplayer offers up to 64 players in a single map giving a good feel of being on a hectic battlefield no matter which of the 30+ maps you play on as whatever class of the 51 available. You also have a choice of 37 vechicles across all the maps none of which to my knowledge are 'on rail' (LUL). You'll have a hard time finding multiplayer stale with so many differing playstyles of classes withing the different factions (CIS/Empire/Rebels/Republic) on so many different maps (CIS droideka/magnaguard is the ♥♥♥♥).

In short, don't buy this if you really like day one DLC, season passes, content and money.

It's like Fifa but good.

A better left4dead in the fact that your survival is slightly less dependant on the IQ of your teamates. Also has skateboards, katanas and british accents. You'd be mad to pass this up.
