A really amazing game, retro style, absolute banger OST, moral choises mechanic. The platforming if awful. Sadly it outweighs all the good sides of the game. I can't imagine replaying this game (although it has some replayability). Looks like it tried to be like The Messenger. But yet again the platforming will make you suffer. It's a pity though. The Messenger had a really balanced platforming.

I don't even have words to tell you how amazing Elden Ring is. This comes from me who is a big From Software's games fan. So I'm kinda biased towards them. But they deserve the love from their fans.
The game takes "Souls" formula and cranks it up to 11. Vast open world filled with puzzles, dungeons, items and enemies. Almost every location just overwhelms you with beauty and epicness. Colossal castles and endless mountains make you feel small. Locations are made with attentention to the details.
Gameplay wise - people who love Souls games will sure love this one as well. People who never played games like these - will sure love it too. The game allows players to take a different approaches if some enemy becomes "undefeatable".
The music and sound design are just marvelous. Every hit you deliver to your enemies makes a satisfying sound. And OST is just pure dophamine. You feel like an strong knight trying to slay the spawn of evil when you fight bosses. I've got goosebumps countless times when I heard new boss' themes.
There is just one "negative" thing for me in this game. When in other games you could beat all bosses just by learning their attack patterns, Elden Ring seems to have a little different formula. A lot of bosses encourage you to summon players or use other tools to fight them not alone. Also some attack patterns change in speed it seems (don't know if it's true or not, just my feelings). So trying to beat some bosses seems unfair using some strategies.
A word about quests. They seem a little hard to follow since they used the same formula Souls games has - NPC's explain you what to do next in cryptic ways. And the world is so large - it's really easy to miss the next step in quest progression.

TL;DR - Elden Ring is absolute masterpiece of a game. This is pure art. Other developers should learn from From Software how to make games instead of cloning the same stuff over and over again. Almost every aspect of it is polished and you will sure have a lot of fun playing it.

Early Access Review
This game reminds me of those times when games were made for a player to have fun and not just "cash grab". It's simple, it has a cool retro-styled graphics, it has a banger OST. Huge kudos to the devs for making such an amazing game! I hope it will develop into even more fun than it is in Early Access state.

Very good indie survival horror game. Has a bit of Resident Evil vibes in it. Also can recommend this game to H.P. Lovecraft fans. The story is pretty good and grim. Game gave me huge The Last Door vibe (you know what I mean if you played it).
Combat can feel little dull but it's allright. Soundtrack is pretty dope - a lot of chill piano melodies, very good job! Solid 7/10.

Farewell one of the best DLC's in the game. Good map balanced for both sides, amazing and fun KIller - Demogorgon, and Nancy, Steve and Jonathan as Survivors with mediocre perks. Sad day...

Removing the iconic voice lines sucked, but then BHVR lied about their involvement with a company making NFTs and provided them the models to actually make the NFTs. Just feels like they don't really care about their player base.

DO NOT buy this DLC. Deathslinger is now trash since they nerfed him HARD on 19.10.2021 patch. Save your money.

Been playing since the release in 2016.

Game is fun in the beginning for both sides. A little hard for Survivor especially if you playing alone. And easier for the Killer. As you gain experience and begin to face more experienced players, Killer becomes very hard and Survivors games become easier.

Game is not balanced on high skill level. Especially when you play Killer against a group of Survivors which use communication software (Discord and e.t.c.). Many perks on Killer side rely on aura reading and stealth. Which completely negated by those groups. Devs aren't against it so it's like they allow cheating in their own game.

Devs are pretty Survivor biased in general. The community (Survivor's side) cries about things they don't like and after some time it will be nerfed or "reworked". Only Killers and their perks are getting nerfed. Survivors perks get maybe one or two nerfs in like 1-2 years. This all happens because its a 4v1 game and there are way more Survivors. And they buy a lot more skins than Killers do.

A word about "community" or this game. I came to play this game after playing a lot of TF2. I thought that TF2 community was toxic. Not at all. DbD's one beats all levels of toxicity. I've had may wishes of my death on my profile just because some people didn't like the way I've played. After I locked the comments on my profile to "Firends only", some of them still managed to leave their comments on my screenshots e.t.c.

Though the game is not F2P there are a large amount of hackers. And if you play Killer and one survivor is hacking other 3 usually support them (great community once again).

Every update comes with tremendous amount of bugs which get fixes atleast 2 weeks later.

So if you like to get easy games with 4 of your friends against 1 player - buy this game. If you like to play various Killers (because the gameplay for Survivor side is getting boring after a while - just holding LMB, Shift and pressing Space occasionaly) - don't buy this game because you will regret it after you will get to high level play since it's not balanced at the top skill level and 100% survivor sided.

Also a word about the devs. Survivors side biased, ignoring Killer players complaints, contantly nerfing Killers based on low skilled survivors crying on forums. If you like to outplay 4 persons and win - this game is not for you because you won't win.
