Would you kindly play Bioshock?

Bioshock really shows that video games can be art. This kind of story and worldbuilding couldn't be achieved with any other art form. It has the best plot twist I have ever witnessed and a sandbox so free and dynamic it's almost frightening. To enjoy this masterpiece you don't even have to be a veteran fps enthusiast because Bioshock blends so many different genres: fps, rpg, stealth, strategy and horror. So there really is something for everyone.

Many people have had problems with 1. There being a mandatory additional launcher (2k Laucher) and 2. Gamebreaking bugs. For me neither one of those have been a deal. You can disable 2k Laucher with SteamEdit and I haven't experienced any bugs that ruined my experience. Every now and then a body starts glitching on the ground but that happens in basically every video game...

Only nitpick I have is that because respawning keeps your progress, you can basically brute force everything which takes some of the strategic elements away.

EDIT: The ending is just straight up bad and unpolished. Ken Levine has even apologized for it xD

This artstyle, story and gameplay never gets old so you don't have to worry about playing it right now. Just remember to do so before eventually passing away. Trust me. You won't regret.
