This is a game that will suck your life away until everyone you love has given up on you and left you to rot away as you click the same pixels for thousands of hours in hopes of getting a few pixels that will give you momentary happiness before you go onto the next thousand hours of clicking slightly different pixels for a few pixels. Boy do I love it!

You get home from work late one night and your house has been ransacked, completely looted nothing left un-touched. Before thinking to call the police yo rush to your bedroom and check your safe, it's been damaged but it hasn't been opened, "thank god," you whisper to yourself. You enter your combination, "69..... 42.... 0," you hear the always satisfying click of the safe unlocking and the creak of the door as it swings open.
Inside are typical things someone would keep locked up, some extra cash for an emergency, family heirlooms, important documents, and a love letter. You grab the love letter and begin to caress it, careful not to crease it or bend the corners, you read it over and over as a tear begins to roll down your cheek as you reminisce about simpler times.

It was as normal day on the job. You were a forensic cleaner, or at least that's what you'd people that asked, and you just arrived to your next work site. Barbara White, a friendly old lady who's husband widowed her some decades ago. She kept to herself as her days got fewer and didn't have many ambitions left, just sort of waiting for her time. As you were documenting the scene you notice your notepad had something written in it. you didn't recognize the barely legible handwriting but you knew it was meant only for you so you quickly put it in your bag and finished with your work before heading home.
At home you set your bag down and pulled out your notepad to see what was written on it. You have some difficulty making it out but it brings you to tears when you finally do. It's a letter from Ms. White, to you. It's written with the same love you'd expect from any woman Barbara's age, it reminds you of how you used to write to your high school sweetheart.

DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE

Beautiful, simply beautiful.

I'm sick and tired of these exclusivity deals with Epic Games. The game isn't even worth playing on steam. The map size is limited, the online coop is removed from the game and the release is delayed an extra year. Give me a break.

I play this game in VR so my review will only apply to the VR version of the game.

The game is really satisfying to play and provides a great sense of accomplishment when you finish a job. I don't know a whole lot about cars and have been able to figure things out with the ingame guides.

Bad Rats Show is by all meanings of the word, a masterpiece. Ever since the original speculations of a "Bad Rats 2", I knew true, and I knew it was going to be good. I closely tracked all the progress made by the developers, documenting all possible mentions of a new game in the works. all the while knowing that the gaming industry as a whole was in for an unbelievable new standard in how games should be made, and what it takes to create a truly perfect game.

Then it came, release date, the wait finally paid off. I bought the game the minute it came out, I downloaded it as quickly as possible, and launched it... "Oh. My. God." I uttered as the launcher appeared infront of my unworthy eyes glowing with pure joy. I was already amazed by the sheer quality of this game. I quickly chose my desired graphics settings and anxiously clicked on that big, beautiful start button. I squeeked with pure joy as I saw the intro screen, with the one and only, incredibly beautifully rendered 'Bad Rat', welcoming me to the show, and most importantly, his family. I selected a save slot and loaded into the first level on the hardest difficulty, the only true way to play this game. As I took in the breathtakingly cinematic visuals of the first level, I felt a single tear running down my face, knowing that it could only get better from here on out, "This is it. This is what true happiness feels like." I opened up my toolbox and thoroughly examined each and every option presented to me, carefully studying each vertex on the models, each pixel. Then, I saw it. The perfect piece. The battery. I knew right then and there that this was it, this was the prop that I needed in my life, the prop that was going to carry my family of rats to victory. We were going to exterminate those crumy cats once and for all. I carefully took hold of the battery, it's beauty shining in the light. I slowly and precisely maneuvered it into the perfect position to send that frivolous feline to the grave. But then, just as I was about to place the battery, and end this war once and for all, something happened... Something unlike anything I've ever experienced in my entire life. A white square with clean edges and beautifully drawn alien hieroglyphs etched into it appeared from the glowing heavens. It's godlike beauty placing me into a trance for several hours. Once I escaped my trance, I cautiously leaned closer and closer toward the still glowing square. I slowly realized that I could make out what seemed to be some English writing...
The game crashed
I took this as a sign, a sign that something greater and of a higher dimension has yet to come, it was a warning. I quickly turned off my computer and documented the unbelievably surreal experience I just had.

I was honored to have played such a game.
