Dead by Daylight has an addicting gameplay loop that has drawn me into almost 100 hours of it over just a few days. Not something many games do so successfully.

Its well-crafted gameplay is only the base of what this game is though. Given its entirely online competitive nature the game can be a slog to get into at the very beginning. Especially if you’re not playing with friends. Though there is a pretty quick turn around after the first couple ranks, from then on, the competition is satisfying and can leave your heart pumping as you hide trying to finish the last gen needed to escape.

I highly recommend it, especially if you go into it with friends.
