All DLC characters are free, and most skins are earnable for free using in game currency. This is one of the best fighting games available on steam, but the core experience is queuing online for random matches. Single player consists of an arcade mode and recently added events like break the targets. A story mode is coming, but that does not affect my recommendation and i do believe the game is worth it as it currently exists.

In spite of whatever salt-filled reviews might say about game balance, this is one of the most balanced platform fighters available. The idea of a "low tier" in this game is still a character that has every tool to succeed and would be high/top tier by any other games standards.
