we sure waited and waited and waited.

would it have been nice if Team Cherry popped in every 4 months just to say "yup still working" to stave off the horrors and fears these past several years? yes.

But were they cooking that whole time? YES.

Everything I've experienced so far in my first day have been incredibly delightful, and I can't wait to keep playing. Music, art, gameplay, world building, all S tier. Thank you Team Cherry, can't wait to keep silking this song.

Absolutely love these card management type games, very similar to stacklands though way cozier and cuter without a failstate, just stagnation in growth if you cant keep up. For a free game, extremely excellent work and super fun! Looking forward to more by the developer.

Early Access Review
Supergiant cooked so hard they deserve the 4th Michelin star.
Character designs pop off.
Environments are gorgeous.
Voice work is unparalleled.
Gameplay makes me want to skip work to keep playing.
I love you Hades II. Thank you for existing.

The art is absolutely adorable, such a cool card game! The designs of the NPCs and enemies are awesome, and the sound design is really clean with fun music.

Wildfrost has a lot of really fun mechanics, I really enjoy attaching charms to cards to support how you use them, and I think it's super cool how you can arrange your side of the board for free to line up your combinations each turn.

What I like in the nature of roguelike-deckbuilders is the joy of discovering combinations of cards that are super powerful, even if a little unbalanced! A lot of the "not recommended" reviews are complaining about balance, but to me that's not as critical of an issue as updates can always fix major problems if need be. I only played for a couple hours so far, but I am barely scratching the surface of the complexity of the game, I am so excited to learn more!

Absolutely adorable game, really fun and somehow both simultaneously relaxing and stressful! Extremely satisfying to move around big stacks of cards.

One of my fave games of all time, at first I was too stressed playing it because of how fast time went and not knowing what to do but once I came back and got into it I GOT INTO IT. Love it so much. So much.

Way more addictive than it should be. Probably best idle game I have played. Not like, the most groundbreaking video game of all time, but has good simple core mechanics and has some principles about exponential growth and knowing when to put in shortterm resources to get long term benefits. Very satisfying to see the numbers go up so high.

As good as a sequel to an amazing game can be. The story was engaging, the mechanics were fantastic, and the art and music were phenomenal. As a follow up to Ori and the Blind Forest, Will of the Wisps gives the player mechanics that are easy to understand and are familiar, but still offers many completely new skills to master. The combat in Will of the Wisps is especially leaps and bounds more engaging than the first game. The map is absolutely massive and the quests NPCs give are fun ways to encourage exploration and ability mastery. 10/10 game in my book.
