Genuinely one of the best story-driven single player games I've played. I don't tend to be drawn into stories from games that much unless they're particularly gripping, and Prey took hold of me straight from the start. This genuinely feels like the System Shock 3 we desperately needed.

Combat is pretty satisfying (though occasionally janky), and the stylization of the game is superb. It does have a few bugs though, so save often. The one huge critique I have of the game is that the audio mixing is absolute garbage, so that might be a turnoff for some people. Some voices are far too loud while others are inaudible; some guns are properly satisfying while others (turrets) make no sound at all, and I can't tell if that's intentional or another bug. Still, if you can look past that, this is one of the best games of the last decade.
