SOLUTION for how to play this game in higher resolutions and fix problems (like super sonic speed and characters floating in air)

To play this game in higher resolution, you need to open ‘Registry Editor’
For Windows 8 and above (64bit) go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Pivotal Games\Conflict Desert Storm\Device Settings

In 'Device Settings', right click ‘ResolutionIndex’, then modify, then check the 'decimal' circle.
Here is what you need to do next:
The best way to find out what number works for you (because there is a different number for every user) is to increase the default decimal number (13 in my case) by 1 & each time take a screenshot in the game (SHIFT+Printscreen) then paste it into your paint program. Here, go to "resize", then "pixel" and that will show you which resolution that number is for. For example, my decimal value for 1080p is 18. For other users it might be 19, 15 etc. Try for yourself and see

NEXT STEP is how to fix the game bugs/problems.
Here you will need to limit the game to 60 fps. Going above 60 is where you will encounter the game breaking bugs.
Download the latest recommended version of RivaTuner and MSI Afterburner.
Go to RivaTuner – ‘Add’ – go to the .exe file of the game which is called ‘DesertStorm’ - DesertStorm.exe has now been added to the list. Select ‘DesertStorm.exe’ in the list – ‘Framerate limit’ – type ‘60’ – turn off ‘On-Screen Display support’ – minimize RivaTuner.

Last step is to go to the .exe file of the game which is called ‘DesertStorm’, *right click* – ‘Properties’ – ‘Compatibility’ – Untick the box where it says ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for:’

The best game I ever played, now with Ultra HD graphics! It helped me improve my personal life! It even helped me to learn Russian and Brazilian. Even my old Babushka recommends this game and said my russian is very fluent blyat!
My lungs also evolved since I screamed so much in the mic during my entire life of CS:GO gaming and arguing with the russians. Now I'm on par with Aquaman

Dang bro, no one is hacking in this game! The Prime status upgrade is totally worth it!

Un joc minunat cu o poveste absolut geniala <3

Bun deci o sa fac acest review cat de sincer pot pentru cei ce doresc a cumpara acest joc si nu numai. Inainte sa-l cumpar aveam mici dubii, unii mi-au spus ca e plin de buguri, alti prieteni mi-ai spus ca e plictisitor si asa mai departe. Pana la urma l-am cumparat sa vad ♥♥♥ sta treaba si pot spune ca este un joc super. Ce-i drept are cateva buguri dar nu te incurca cu nimic, cred ca gasesti un bug care sa te incurce in 1/50 meciuri sau poate si mai rar.
Nu vreau sa mai lungesc prea mult acest review asa ca:

- Recomand acest joc? da! -
- Este distractiv? da! mai ales daca ai prieteni cu care sa joci la Squad. -
- Gameplay-ul e bun? categoric, cel mai bun Battle Royale! -
- Este bine optimizat? da, eu unul nu am probleme in a atinge 60 fps pe detalii destul de mari cu un amarat de i3 si gtx 1050ti -
- Isi merita banii? pai depinde...la pret intreg nu stiu ce sa spun dar la 20$ categoric! -
- Il recomand si altora? categoric! singur cred ca te vei plictisi dupa un anumit timp dar la Squad este mult prea fun daca joci cu prietenii! -

Sper ca acest review sa ajute si alte persoane care inca nu stiu daca sa il cumpere sau nu! Eu unul il ador. Peace!


UPDATE: dupa tot acest timp, jocul inca este foarte ok. La momentul actual cand fac aceasta modificare (sezonul 5), jocul inca merita cumparat. Vad ca au tot adaugat continut nou
