I didn’t grow up with a DS so this was all new to me, but I quickly fell in love with all the characters and the often ridiculous circumstances. I’m sorry to see it end, but will definitely continue with the other games in the series and their offshoots.

My only real negative is the localization. Probably at the time this released and the age group it targeted, it made sense to Americanize everything, but as the story progressed it seemed they had to make some weird concessions to keep up the ruse that this was the US. I’m hoping the newer games aren’t setup this way. Though I’ll still play them…I will just set them in Japan in my head.

My first Persona game. Was worried when some people told me it was the worst one of the bunch. But they were wrong. The story is heartfelt, funny and moving. All the characters left an impression on me. I would play another game with these characters if such exists.

An amazing game that outshines the original in many ways. It doesn’t feel on-rails like other co-op shooters, and rewards you for competent and creative gameplay. Always fun. Always crazy. Always my recommendation.

A true gem of a game. Perfect for Steam Deck (or PC). Sweet, cute, yet challenging. A feel good game built on the shoulders of original Zelda, while replacing the aged combat of that game with twin stick/bullet hell mechanics. Simply amazing.

Aliens Dark Descent is a great AA-level game. It brings a great mix of real-time strategic gameplay with a story that fits the Aliens universe well. Having purchased this close to its release, I did bump into some rough edges that may or may not have been fixed by now: A character getting stuck in the environment forcing me to restart. Marine barks which are cringy and often too frequent. Some questionable save mechanics and a timed ending which can put your entire game at risk.

That said, with a few updates or even some mods, this game is amazing and something that I hope the developers build upon for a sequel.

I really enjoy the racing in this game. I’ve tried a few isometric racers and this one was the most enjoyable. There was always a reason to earn more stars and more money. I did find parts of it grindy and I definitely didn’t get very far due to some serious save game issues (and the reason for my negative review).

I played exclusively on Steam Deck and I am aware it’s not Steam Deck approved, though the game ran fine. After a few days, though, I lost my progress due to a steam cloud error. Turned off steam cloud and started over. Then after an update I lost my progress again. The developer said there is a backup but unfortunately the backups I had were all blank and obviously not from my most recent gaming session. I don’t really want to put time into this anymore just to have all of that time wasted.

If you want to play this on deck, you may want to backup your own saves or wait until the deck support is approved.

This was my first visual novel and won’t be my last. Perfect evening game to relax with the Steam Deck and engage with a wonderfully well written story. Loved the mix of characters, the morbid history of the various curses, and the way the game broke the 4th wall from time to time. Highly recommended even for visual novel novices.

This game is an absolute gem. I played almost all the way through Act I on Game Pass but then knew I wanted to play it on Steam Deck and also own it because it was that good. It is easy to become enamoured with the characters and by the end, I was quite invested in every character in Tassing; so much so that their actual life and death struggles really meant something to me. From an historical perspective, Pentiment is probably one of the best resources to get a feel for life in the middle ages. If you stay to watch the credits, you will see no less than three PhD level consultants participated in the game's historical accuracy. There is also a bibliography of several pages which, if I ever find the time, I may dig into and read some of those research papers in more detail.

I got 17 hours in the game and probably could have squeezed out a few more hours had I explored more (having researched a few things after completion, I learned of some things I may have missed). Getting 100% in achievements will require multiple playthroughs (or perhaps manual save-scumming), but I don't see me replaying it (at least not soon). The choices you make can contribute to the overall feel of how things happen, but won't change the ending - so don't fret over your choices too much. Just have fun and immerse yourself in the world of 16th century Bavaria.

Wow... that's really all I need to say. This game is a masterpiece from beginning to end. The only negative is that I now have to wait for the next part to be released on PC, which could be years from now. I wasn't a Final Fantasy VII fan before, but I am now.

This game isn't new so most people interested in it probably know its flaws, but with 23 hours played and Steam asking me "would you recommend this game to other players", I feel it's my responsibility to say no. The premise is interesting. The story, apart from a lacklustre ending was mostly intriguing. The combat had some fun moments. But the game itself is exceedingly boring. The main character is literally in a time loop going to the same maps in the same places over and over. It never gets more interesting over time, only more tedious. I had to push myself to finish this thing toward the end because it just seemed I was going around in circles. Really had higher hopes for this, but ultimately it left me disappointed.
