After playing this game for 1250 hours I think it's time to review and have my say on this game.

I am currently diamond (this games version of Global elite from CS:GO) and have experainced this game from beginner to pro league players. this game has been out for a year and a half now, and I bought it on launch,. It has changed dramatically since then with new anti-hack and constant 1-2 month updated being deployed, as well as new FREE DLC being added every 3 months to switch up the meta and add a new map to the mix.

The game plays as a Tactical online FPS shooter which requires you to set up a team of 5 operators from 30 (15 each side) which all have unique weapons, speeds, armour and a unique ability which completely changes how that round will be played. Due to this fact as well as 3 to 4 different locations to attack or defend per map (16 maps currently) within 3 different game modes, no round feels similar to the last. Maps are highly destructable with many walls being breachable, windows being able to be blown and doorways blocked. This can abe countereed by defending team as they can reinforce weak areas to prevent the attacking team from certain pushes and entry points. the game also operates as a one hit headshot, no matter the operator, the distance or even the gun. If you catch somones head from across the map with your pistol, they are dead, which really shows in competitive play that aim is very important skill to bing to your team.

This game really does reinvent the tactical and competitve shooter and brings it into modern day gaming and graphics.

But no game goes without it's flaws,
Forced uplay can be annoying for those that don't want to download another launcher for their games, however, those that play farcry or Division or really any other ubisoft game will already have this installed.

The game is by Bugisoft, so it does have it's bugs and not perfect, but ubi have realised how this game has grown and have dedicated a full season (3 months) to improving the game currently.

The game is HIGHLY map and game knowledge based, when you first pick up the game, you may find that until you learn the game mechanics and the maps you may not be getting the MVP of the game. Ubisoft also trying to counter this by adding a casual mmr system that is independent of ranked., a level 20 minimum before playing ranked and a level sytem meaning that you won't be placed against level 200-300s like me.

The game is 20gb without the HD texture pack and another 30 with it. The game runs smoothly but on my moderate pc build, getting constant 144hz out of the game is a stuggle but thouse with better rigs than mine won't find this an issues and the HD textures isn't really needed to make this game look amazing anyways.

TL;DR - PROS- Amazing gameplay, never the same round played twice. Interactive gameplay, you decide how the maps are changed though destuction and how the round plays out with operator choices and loadouts. Extremely tactical shooter with drones and cameras used to gather information about the enemy team (meaning dead players can still have a HUGE impact on the round) Competitive shooter, game has a 1 hit headshot mechanic making it extremely skill based at high level play with an esl prize pool of $500,000 this year. Constantly updated and meta shifts,. Game never gets stale as characters are altered and rebalanced. Game is growing steadily with fresh competition joining every day.

CONS- Forced uplay, few bugs here and there, big learning curve with maps and game mechanics, short and sweet story missions leave players with a want for more (yet it is not a focus of the game), big download but the HD textures are REALLY not needed unless you have an amazing rig.

All in all I would highly recommend this game interested in tactical shooters, and is a great alternative for those in the cs:go scene that is starting to get a little bored of the game. Also for thosethat liked the old style Call of Duty scene with game modes like search and destroy and want something a little more tactical and strategical without all new mechanics of the newer CoD's
