Why is my ping stable but so high?
If my ping is high and is sitting around 300 stable then I am most likely playing with a friend from another Region

>Buy better internet
- Getting better internet does not reduce my ping from 300 to 50/70, though it will help my ping reduce to a good 270 tops, If you think buying better "internet" works then you should research on how Ping/Internet works. Go up to any person who tried playing in different regions to get to taste how the players are like you will see how their ping is generally higher than average. This is also the reason why CSGO has multiple regions that is not visible to us, to see the server location or info just type in status in console.

>Why are you playing on other region than your own?
- The reason why I am playing on a different region is to play with friends, though it pains me to see my ping affect others but I do try my best and help the team in whatever way I can such as giving info, nading, or even fragging. Yes infact I do go positive in 300 ping.

Now to the grand question
>Why is my Ping so high? You should get better internet!
- Your ping to a server represents the amount of time it takes data to travel to the server there, and for the server to respond back to you

Here is an example that a lovely person has provided to help you understand how internet works. You are A and you want to talk to S. P is a Proxy server. Every x is a node, or hop (a router) on the internet that you have to go through to get to your destination
