I love Doom. Doom is my childhood.
I own every Doom game in every form possible.
This review is about the KEX re-release.

*this was weird for me.. i mean... for some reason, it makes me think of my childhood (playing Doom on DOS)... i never got that feeling until now (and trust me, i play orignal Doom a LOT).
BUT... i tend to get stuck on geometry a lot...
shooting is a bit off, sounds are weird (and sometimes certain sound effects and certain situations wont play, like having a crowd of imps roaring, shooting, and my shotgun wont make one sound out of five. As if there were too many sounds at once. Also, when the famous stairs are rising, the sound is too loud (but it was like that back in the day, originally... im pretty sure).
And few more details that just seem too of for me...
I dont like Unity, but only thing i enjoy about this version is the FPS (but the game randomly slowes down almost to single digits, wtf?), extra content (Quake 2 treatment in form of concept art and stuff) and.... few multiplayer options, i guess.... thats about it...*

Maybe it will get patched later on, but these are my 'first' impressions...

Well.... Its not the best game ever... it played terrible, bad optimisation, it just did not feel good at all, it felt like a cheap mobile game. But i still do appericiate it. I liked the beginning cuz everything was new, i enjoyed the middle, but the end was a struggle.
6/10 lol

Would i recommend? I will recommend the demo for sure.

Confusing review? Yes.

I loved Future Cop L.A.P.D. as a kid, and i sure do love AirMech Strike as an adult now

FTL meets Doom.
I was so impressed by the graphics, this game looks amazing, runs amazing... teh style is astounding.
They way they did the characters reminds me of Rogue Legacy. Every character is different, theres lots and lots of traits, you can smell food for miles away, you can be short, you can randomly caugh, its really great!
The guns are awesome, firing them feels really great!
THE HUMOR! This game was so damn funny!
The sounds, the dialogues, THE MUSIC, its all incredible.
Enemies were so cool, especially the jelly guys and spooks!
I loved every bit of it.

Until i finished the game.

I WAS LESS IMPRESSED.

After i finished the game (approx 16hrs or so) i was less impressed because i realized that there are only few main story goals. I crafted and upgraded almost everything. There was not a lot of enemies. All in all, this game felt like a big shareware demo, in the end...

But hey, all in all, this game was astonishing. I thought there nothing that could surprise me in my life. But Void Bastards did surprise me!

I just wish there was more enemies, more ships...
Game was very very hard from the beginning. I had to manage my food, fuel, ammo... i had to plan every room, be cautious....
But towards the end, i could run and gun thru every ship, i didnt had to worry about health, food nor fuel anymore...

I love it. I just wish there was more.

When you finish the game, you can play some sort of challenges (Binding of Isaac style, i guess) but thats not for me, sorry.

best battle royale game ever. Physics based, its really damn funny.... you gotta try this, its worth every penny!

Well, the first one is ♥♥♥♥, but has a better story. This one is superior, but the story was a little drag... lots of political ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.... story was kinda boring to be honest, but side quests, ritual, monsters, trolls, everythings was absolutely amazing. This game is a total 10 outta 11
