Comparing this to Core Keeper:

>Better end game, Incursion adds end game contents that Core Keeper is lacking. In CK, after you beat the last boss, that's it. There isnt much do and you likely spent more time building mining system.

>Better gearing system. Enchant is a simple, yet effective gear mechanics. And after you unlock incursions, you can use any armor set and have its stats match end game armors through upgrades. No armor set is obsolete, which makes builds more varied and versatile.

>Better QoL. Other than building and decorating, anything you don't want to do in this game, can just be done by villagers. I played enough Harvest Moon in various different game so its nice to not have to think about farming in this game.

Fun and interesting but need a lot of QoL improvement.

1. For some reason the game uses alot of GPU power despite being very average in graphics. I'm using 3060Ti and I was surprised that the fan suddenly goes super hard. What's this, a cryptominer game?
2. You can't save after upgrading your deck, the game always autosave before the battle and if you reload, you have to redo all the upgrades again. Idk why they do this, but its such an inconvenience.
3. Need an undo button, just once per move and it would improve the game experience considerably. Kinda terrible that you can't.
4. It'd be great if you can see what tiles are left in your pile. Idk if you could, but can't find that option.
5. Its always 1 building or 1 technology per reward nodes. This is.. horrible by design especially for builds requiring faith. Maybe just add both rewards in some options.
6. Instead of putting buildings in the draw piles, maybe separate it and always have it accessible. The draw piles should only have enemy tiles and terrains. That'll make the game more manageable with less volatile RNG.
7. Mercenary should not be part of the 8 cards you can bring. Just no.

p.s: I give up. It completely stops being fun after a while. If I need to reload save each time a round is bricked, that's not an enjoyable experience at all. Strategy games are pointless when the game is heavilty reliant on RNG. Winning doesn't feel great either.

I don't really enjoy this game as much as I thought I would. Perhaps its just the overall theme, and the over abundant of red aside of few mechanics that puts me off.

Its fine. It had some interesting idea but the game lacks refinement and polish in whatever it offers. Grinding and progressing in this game is not that engaging either making it super boring to play at times. I'm playing it on and off due to how dull the gameplay is.

What's surprising about this game is. There's a lot of content. Thought I'd be done in 20 hours but I'm almost 80 hours in and I'm still not done.

Only thing I wish improved is if they allow Skills to be upgraded to Legendary. The effect itself doesn't need to be upgraded (for example Rare EXT can just remain having 1 effect) but maybe improve the modifiers or stats it gives so you can have more optimized build variations. This would also allow R skills to be useful even in end game (some still is but the low stat boost really hurts late game or in harder difficulty)

(btw the game reminds me of Star Ocean a bit, not exactly but it has similar vibe)

PROS: Splash art looks nice (that's it),
CONS: sprites and overall aesthetic looks ugly, the battle system is fun but it gets pretty stale since there's literally nothing else in the game.
