This is one of my favorite games, do I recommend it to other players who maybe interested? Nope. Bad monetization, balance is at the whims of popular streamers. Some builds just destroy others, though not enough to stop you from trying others. The game itself is near impossible to get into, with most of the story being vaulted. This leaves you questioning what the hell is going on unless you watch 1-3 hours of lore videos.
The season passes that you miss out on leave you feeling like you lack weapons or armor rolls that you wish you had participated in earlier. All in all its very anti-new player friendly. However they are making many changes to get it ready for the new expansion, I just wish they did that 5 months ago when I first started, maybe I would be playing more. Now I just touch it once a week, with most of my friends absolutely tired of playing the game, trying to build and use new systems and the near constant up keep on those tired played out systems that just seem to be reused every season.

When the expansion come out, if you are interested still, do it, give it a try and dedicated some time into it. Although it will still be hard to get into and still have anti-player systems.
