there are so many things wrong with this game i don't even know where to begin
also i got banned on the forums for saying the game sucks wow
freedom of speech is just a suggestion i guess
basically i hate the dice systems because it adds nothing to the game, the random element doesn't force the player to adapt because you're supposed to win the RNG to actually progress. in games that are good if i aim at an enemy and shoot they will get hit every time but in BG and other larian studios games it's a random chance every single time and it skips your turn if you miss. you can move around a lot and enemies too so in the end running away and avoiding everything is just the best strategy but also freaking boring. i remember using stealth in Divinity 2 and steamrolling the game by stealing everything and then casting spells while outside of fighting distance and the NPCs didn't even react. it doens't feel like i actually achieved anything.
