This is the first entry into the Modern Warfare side of Call of Duty since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered (2016) (technically if you want to get literal its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011)) and by god has it been a while. We haven't had a "realistic" COD shooter for YEARS and finally we bounce back with one of the best looking and best feeling shooters in a long while. The campaign is phenomenal (however it is worth noting that the campaign is broken, especially on the steam release and will require some finicking around to work properly) and the best sliding movement in a modern shooter period. Honestly? This and Black Ops Cold War are probably the only modern COD games you need or should get unless MWIII is any good (it won't be). Now time for the copy pasted template ♥♥♥♥:
