An absolute classic in the single player FPS genre. The art direction is perfection, making this one of the most iconic series ever made.

A worthy sequel to an excellent third person platformer.

While the gameplay does feel a little dated the level design and writing throughout the game are exceptionally good. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys 3D platformers/action games.

Excellent minimalist skateboarding game; once you've gotten the controls down you'll be landing tricks with ease and simply enjoying the flow.

Elden Ring does an excellent job at distilling the core Dark Souls experience into an open world setting. It's an undeniably well made and enjoyable game with plentiful challenge and amazing settings you come to expect from the soulsbourne series.

The first 75% of the game is arguably a perfect 10/10 experience, exploring every cave/catacomb, uncovering new areas, new enemies and new bosses. Unfortunately the final part of the game drags on the experience at the detriment to all that came before it, causing my final moments playing through the game to be some of my least enjoyable - desperate for the game to end.

As you progress it becomes increasingly apparent just how much of the game is recycled content, you will be fighting the same enemies throughout - even in seemingly unique late game locations you are still going to be fighting the same enemies you have seen before. Bosses are frequently reused, your first encounter with any boss is an enjoyable challenge however the 3rd, 4th, 5th time and beyond these fights become an exercise in tedium, this repetition detracts from your first experience of the boss as you now realise that moment was not special.

The vast majority of the unique bosses are exceptionally good fights, feeling tough but fair whereby you learn the various openings for attack, trading back and forth with your opponent. Unfortunately many of the final bosses offer you very few openings for attacks or heal, they can unleash multi-hit combos (sometimes 9 attacks in a row) with no opening for attack. Once they do finish their combo and you can get an attack in you typically only have time for one hit, then you are back to dodging watching the boss fly around the arena while you wait for your turn to play. With fewer and smaller attack windows you are essentially forced to utilise your single most damaging ability - typically a jumping heavy attack or a weapon art, ideally dealing high poise damage to stance break and leave the boss open to a critical strike. This pattern of gameplay is not particularly challenging but it is quite boring with each fight requiring this same strategy,

This game is perfect for players who have wanted to play previous souls games but found them too intimidating, despite my criticism above there are so many options available to the player that can tailor the difficulty to their desires. The plethora of spirit summons can triviliase all encounters (to the point of being a clear balance concern).

This is a great game that sadly does not live up its potential but it is still an experience I would highly recommend.

A unique experience in which you put together the fragmented and disjointed pieces of puzzle.

A fun, challenging game that brings together the same excitement of combo stacking from the tony hawk series with chilled vibes and excellent visuals.

There are some difficulty spikes but as you progress you will find yourself soon mastering tricks which had you stuck a few hours ago.

This is an excellent roguelike, clearly inspired both in setting and gameplay by Nuclear Throne.

There is an excellent variety of weaponry with the different powerups combing to create numerous ways to play the game.

If you enjoyed Nuclear Throne/Enter The Gungeon you will enjoy Voidigo.

Really fun additions made throughout early access.
