This game has come along way since launch and all the negativity. I truly have believed the devs have lightning in a bottle with this game. It's a one of a kind type game, I both love and hate how the story system works. I can only imagine what the game will be like 1-2 years from now.

While you have power the game honestly is just tense, the way A Quiet Place is tense, the threat looms but you have the rules in place to stay relatively safe.

But when you run out of fuel... This game becomes something sinister, you make use of your entire arsenal (consumables and all) to find your next fuel box or to make it back to safety. The monster is smart, (waiting to check back on this in a few months and see how people have broken its AI) and is always listening.

The difference of fear factor this game has from powered bunker to unpowered bunker, made me learn VERY quickly to keep the pocket watch on me at all times.

TL;DR: keep the pocket watch on you and an eye on that fuel gauge, you DON'T want it to run out

(I'm expecting a Darkest Dungeon style "Torchless Run" eventually.

***UPDATE***: I have beaten the game and the rest of the review will contain spoilers.

This is the first game in a LONG while I've felt passionate about to write a review for. And I'm wanting to do a 2nd playthrough. I think the first 2/3s is a fantastic build up while you're on your back foot, but the moment you get the Chain Cutters I think the quality goes down (not drastically but everything feels a little rushed). The water bit i feel could've it's own section, I think the Caves/temple couldve been bigger. And the Final Encounter I don't think needed to happen. I would've rather had an Epilogue or more info about the story.

I wish I was given more tools closer to the start to allow for more freedom, before I was practically at the end of the game. Again, before you acquire the Cutters, the game is near perfect with what it's trying to be.

For a hardmode for this game (this is rough i know), I think everytime you die, the codes of the lockers should get reset and items should be shuffled around. OR you reset from square ONE with a randomized Bunker again. (again, Brutal but i think it could be cool)

I await the custom stories/maps people will undoubtably create for this as the gameplay loop is phenomenal!

At the time of this review, I'm nearing the end of my 2nd characters journey and am planning a journey 2 for them. Never in my life have i sunk as many hours as quickly into a game as I have with this game.

From Software has made a masterpiece (it's no where near perfect) and even though I still prefer one of From's previous titles over this game, this is still one of the greatest games ever made, now with my biases out of the way.

ELDEN RING is very new player friendly (for a FROM SOFT game) and has many tools and hints as to what to do and how to use items. If this is your jumping off point for the series, you couldn't have picked a better game.

SIDE NOTE: also at the time of this review, all Dark souls games have had their online removed due to invading issues, and they are no longer multiplayer games which is a huge component to these titles (not just invasions, phantoms and messages too).

I think this game is very front loaded, with a lot of it's best content before the turning point in the story. Similar to DS1, the game does dip in quality nearing the end. Nothing drastically substantial, but a definite notice.

Sadly I cannot recommend any of the other Dark souls games as of now due to the online being gutted. If you are looking for what truly made those games special, it's only found in this game as of right now. I hope they can get their online sorted out for previous titles. But that doesn't take away from what they've done here.

FULLY RECOMMEND, most fun I've had in a video game in a long while. Games can still give you the feeling of exploration and being a kid again, and this game proves that there is still amazing talent and new things out there in this media.

As a typical RPG/Roguelite/Multiplayer fan, this game sucked me in immediately with its opressive atmosphere and made me want to explore to survive. The nights make the best holdout situation I've ever played.

I need to find more games like this. I miss playing this game for the first time.

I never thought slapping a screen on my head would actually make me enjoy this game after all this time. I have thousands of hours on this game on PS3 and on PC i could never get back into the game. the VR port is exactly what i needd to play.

its still a bethesda game so bugs and stuff are abundent. But some mods (SKYRIM SPECIAL EDITION MODS) will fix most of the issues. also i forgot to mention MOST SKSE modes work and there is a Skript Extender for VR.

Necropolis is great. It's got a hefy bit of content, it has Soulsbourne-feel like combat (not the exact same), the procedural generation makes the game fresh everytime you play it. The games items offer a wide variety of play styles, although, some food items are far supieror than others and they are easier to make. The game claims to be unrelenting, and it is at times, but I beat the game on my second attempt (would've been my first if i didnt get stuck in the geomtry). If you are going into this expecting SOULS combat, I am afraid to tell you that it isn't the same. The combat is VERY similar to Souls series but it doesn't have the same amount of 'Umph' the souls series does.
There are a few bugs that I am going to list off:
-Enemies get stuck in walls
-Enemies spawn behind you
-Single player is good, but Co-op is far better
-Got stuck in a crystal and died

BIGGEST DRAW BACK -- $30 price tag | In its current state it is not worth $30 (or your regional equivalent).

Overall 8/10

My Experience (SOLO): My first play through was a blind play through, I had no idea what this game was like, all I saw was the trailer and a little media coverage (E3). I got a little hyped for the game. I enjoyed all of what I played and I will continue to play this game and hope that my friends will accompany me on my escapades. The one moment that stuck in my head (and is the reason im writing this review) is I was on 'Level 5' on my 4th run and I found the exit within 15 mins. I however, decided against going into the exit and ran into another hallway where I was greeted to a jaw dropping site of the landscape before me. It then took me a total of an hour and 45 minutes to beat LEVEL 5...

Okay I will split this review up into 4 parts: 1. Gunplay, 2. A.I, 3. Co-op vs solo, and 4. Enjoyment.

To start things off lets talk about Gunplay.

The Gunplay is a little bit better than "Payday The Heist" although the guns can easily be fired from the hip. Some weapons have some decent recoil while others feel like you are firing a airsoft rifle.

I rate Gunplay a 6/10

Next I will review A.I. (Teammates, cops, etc)

Your teammates are really stupid, they will hit their targets (sometimes) and they won't help carry bags, fix the drill, or tie hostages. Alothough if you have a team of 3 the only A.I. is a great healer.

Next up, Cops. The cops are all pretty dumb but they have some quite entertaining ragdoll physics.

And last and least, Hostages. They are retarded.

I give the A.I a total of 4/10 Teammates 5/10, Cops 5/10, and Hostages 2/10

Third I will talk about Co-op vs solo.

As I said before the A.I. is pretty stupid but this game can be played solo no problem. However, The Co-op is one of the best parts in the game (if you are with friends). No a lot of games can give you the: Panic, excitment, strategy, teamwork, and timing that this game can. the Co-op is the best part about this game hands down.

Co-op 10/10, Solo 7/10 (solo is manly for just needing extra cash fast or not connected to the internet).

And last but not least, Enjoyment.

The enjoyment is all up to the people you play with. I play with randoms a lot and I still have a blast although sometimes you can come across the people who kick you for "screwing up" or "bringing the wrong gun". If you are with friends, this game (and left for dead 2) is a great game to play with them.

I rate enjoyment: with friends 10/10, without friends 3/10 to a 9/10.

All together I give the game a 8/10.

I highly recommend this game if you are getting bored of something like Left for dead 2 or something like that and at this price (at the time of the review the game was $7.49) what do you have to loose. at 30 bucks I would wait for it to go on sale to about 20 or below.

Thanks for reading

CS:GO Review
Allthough there isn't much improvement to the actual game it self I like this a lot better then CS:S.

In my short time of playing this game has to be one of the best netcodes in games! I am not a huge fan of this kind of tactical game i love this game.

8/10
