I unfortunately cannot recommend this port at the moment. It definitely needed a couple more months in the oven. There are a lot of weird glitches and bugs that I come across. Tails' tracking is bugged in Sonic 2. The music doesn't loop correctly in Sonic 3 and Knuckles after some actions and especially in special stages. Along with a lot of weird decisions like not letting us play classic mode is 16:9, having to select Sonic CD to change the OST rather than simply going into the options, not letting you use Knuckles in Sonic CD, etc.

This really pains me because I LOVE the new cut scenes added and all the QOL changes like letting you retry special stages. But with all the negatives, I cannot recommend this collection YET. Wait until for a patch or two to drop before buying.

Emulation sucks ass and they delisted the Sonic games but hey, it's a way to obtain Genesis roms to put in a better emulator or flash cart tho
