Nothing really captures the essence of DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) like Baldurs Gate 3 does. From the randomness of hit chances to rolling a dice and hitting that sweet, SWEET 20. I've played DoS 2 and it didn't really scratch the itch that Baldurs Gate does.

There are multiple races, subraces, classes and subclasses that you can choose from. Not only that, you can MULTICLASS! It's a great option since it allows you to roleplay as whatever character you wish to be. Want to be a warrior that dabbles into magic? Choose fighter, multiclass into wizard/sorcerer/warlock or choose a feat that you get later on in the game. The characters feel alive and you can work on their story quests as you progress through the game. Some spells and attacks that aren't added to the game and I hope that they do in the future.

I did mention the randomness of dice rolls, but the game auto turns on a feature called "Karmic Dice" which makes it so if you're on a bad roll streak, the next rolls are guaranteed to be good. However, one downside to this is that it also affects enemies. If you want true random rolls, it's better to turn off that option within the gameplay settings.

If you want to try and get into DnD, I'd highly recommend giving this game a go. Try to go in blind in your first playthrough, but there's no harm in searching up guides and tutorials,

Don't let the graphics turn you away from this game. It's one of my favorite games to play when I want to turn my brain off. The community is friendly, and the devs actually LISTENS to their player base (never seen before).

In this game, you can choose four different classes to play as: Gunner, Scout, Engineer, and the Driller. You can change classes at any time before the mission starts. Each class offers unique weapons and tools that help you complete your objective. What's great about it is that the game doesn't make it harder if you don't have a certain class. You can have two of the same class and the mission will still proceed smoothly, provided you know what you're doing. Hell, you can even have four engineers and play tower defense. There are various mission types, from simple mining for x amount of minerals to defending a point to killing a big ass robot boss.

If you enjoy horde shooters such as Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood and World War Z, you'll definitely enjoy this game. It does get pretty intense as you pump up the difficulty, with elite enemies such as the Glyphid Bulk Detonator and the Glyphid Praetorian constantly spawning and swarming you.

By far one of the best coop shooters I've played. ROCK AND STONE!

Saw this game in my library and was reminded of my childhood. I was a huge fan of the PvE. However, playing it was something else entirely. They removed PvE and transferred it into the garbage called Airmech Wastelands. The lack of players is honestly disappointing, and the devs pretty much gave this game a huge middle finger. If the game were to be re-released along with consistent updates, I'd be constantly playing it. Giving it a thumbs up because of nostalgia and how much fun I've had playing it in the past.

This game has a beautiful atmosphere, with its graphics immediately drawing my attention. The main things that you do in this game is just grab mission, go to mission place, finish mission, repeat. There are different events that you can do such as fighting ghost ships, shrines, sudden kraken/megalodon attacks, etc. that can keep the game fun. However, if you focus on them too much, it'll probably feel like a chore. Although the weapons in this game feel so simple, the pvp in this game can be pretty complex. From shooting people to shooting cannons and even shooting YOURSELF FROM A CANNON, the player battles are definitely the highlight of this game. There isn't any pay to win, and everything that costs real money only affects cosmetics. A day 1 player can absolutely destroy a veteran because they all have the same items.

Though best played with friends, the matchmaking system isn't too bad. I've met some randoms that are super friendly and some that are straight up crack heads. However, if you want a game with a given objective, this game isn't for you. The game's sort of sandboxy and you need to create your own objectives, similar to that of Minecraft.

Hoping there's a VR version of this game so I can be even more immersed into its environment.

I've played this game on and off throughout the years on both the steam version and mainly from their site. Made new characters each time because I don't know what I'm supposed to do on an old character. Honestly, if you treat it as a grind, you'll get burnt out very quickly. It's better to play for fun and probably "roleplay" a bit. Do some stuff like building or just ♥♥♥♥ around with some randoms. The game isn't really pay to win as even the starter guns can kill a veteran (Though there are better guns that you can buy). The one thing that I enjoy most about the game are the super huge fights, where you don't know what's happening and there's just shooting and explosions everywhere.

I'd recommend this game to anyone who wants to play both "competitively" and casually. If you like big fights (eg. 30 v 30, 50 v 50), this game's for you. If you like vehicle battles from the ground or the sky, this game's for you. You'll need a semi decent pc to play the big battles, but there are potato graphics that you can put into your game that increase your frames tremendously.
