It's nowhere near perfect but it still has a lot of heart. The performances are stellar, the story was gripping, and combat had enough options for me to vary my play style and have a good time. And the spectacle from the boss fights are incredible.

In terms of cons. Side quests aren't very engaging (although I do still think the stories they tell add a lot to characters and the world), the world feels quite empty, and the pacing of when side quests are thrown in is a bit iffy sometimes.

Overall if you like big spectacle dramas then give it a shot.
