This game is rediculously addicting. It's so satisfying to watch your little plot of dirt turn into a farm. The game isn't flawless, but no game is. One thing I hope to see changed is the professions. If I had one suggestion, it would be to either be able to change professions if you find you don't like what you picked, or balance the professions so they're equally useful. When getting to level 5 as a farmer, don't pick the animal profession. You make much more money off of crops and all animal products can be turned into artisan products which sell for much more money. The option to sell these artisan products for much more money than that (40% extra) rests in the crop catagory of the professions, not the animal one. If changing pofessions costed the player 25000 gold, I would happily pay that price, I just dislike the idea of editing my save file simply to pick the better option. The game allows you to divorce a spouse and get rid of any kids you dislike. The game also features the ability to change one's appearence. I think it wouldn't be too unreasonable to be able to change professions as well, especially since you won't know what the second tier of a profession does until you pick the first one. (unless you look it up on the wiki).

Aside from that minor gripe, the game is a fantastic casual experience that I highly recommend to any gamer, hardcore or casual. It's nice to relax every now and then to get away from the stress of your everyday life, a message that this game sends quite clearly from the beginning.

One final note is that my wish from the developer is to continue to add content to this game. I was extremely hyped when I heard about the latest update and how much they added. Keep up the great work!

I decided to download this game after indiegala hosted a giveaway for some DLC. While I appreciate their gesture of kindness, the game, sadly, is lackluster. The story doesn't give you much reason to continue playing and attempts to hook the player by stating something along the lines of "if you get far enough, we'll tell you what's going on" but that didn't interest me. The gameplay consists of pressing a button to send your troops forward a square, or pressing the same button to attack. You can drag and drop your troops into different positions to attack enemies and you can have your troops target one specific enemy. But the problem I faced with this was that it wasn't fun for me. Perhaps it gets better later, but after 40 minutes of playing, I just couldn't care less about advancing the plot or leveling up. Another problem I found is that the game advertises payment options frequently. I can appreciate a developer needing to continue to eat and provide for their family, however to the average person, advertisements are annoying. Now, to give the game credit, payment is not necessary to have decent troops. Finally, the last problems I encountered. Firstly: When encountering a new enemy, a description will flash about the enemy's stats. However, when closing this description, part of the screen will glitch out. Secondly: There doesn't appear to be a way to close the game without alt+tabbing or turning fullscreen off and closing out of the program that way. Perhaps I simply missed it, and if so, my apologies, however most games have an option to shut down the game inside of the game itself usually located in one of the top corners or in a menu in one of these corners.

I want to say that I enjoyed Borderlands 2 to the fullest. But to be quite honest, I have a hard time looking past the flaws of this game. First flaw I found is that the gameplay gets boring and tedious very quickly. Even after getting to level 50 and higher (Which you can only do if you buy DLC) , you'll find that you'll be shooting the same enemies over and over again with the same amount of bullets in the same enemies, despite the amount of damage your gun says you're doing. You start off with very little inventory space so the constant trek back and forth to sell worthless items becomes tedious, and towards the end, money stops mattering as there's nothing to really spend it on. Now here's where it really starts to get bad. You beat the game with your first character around level 29-32. A pop-up says that you can now raise the difficulty. Don't be fooled. If you want to leave the game with a positive opinion, do not replay it. Changing the difficulty sends you back to the beginning of the game and forces you to watch the same cutscenes and do the same quests.(as it stands, I remember almost every bit of dialog with claptrap in the beginning) And if you want to try all the characters at least once, you'll be doing the same intro over and over. While this is decent design for making you get used to the character, its dull for the people who just want to play. (If you do end up buying this game with its DLC, for the most truly difficult and fun experience, play Krieg) Another problem with the combat is there are certain creatures that can simply run up to you and start taking off chunks of your shield/health. Even worse are the ones that pull you towards them. My point being is that there are very few ways to avoid taking damage. I would appreciate the game a lot more if there were options to evade attacks such as dodging or rolling, something that allows the player to respond to certain situations rather than simply tanking. My last gripe with the series is how minor characters are introduced in a spectacular cutscene and then never interact with the player in a meaningful way aside from being a plot devise. They may talk about their past or add some sort of joke or reference but aside from the main characters in the previous game, they do not aid you in combat. They're just quest givers with a backstory. And as far as characters go, they can be entertaining to listen to, but it doesn't feel like they have much meaning.

This game is alright. The main issue I can boil it down to is repetitive combat. While take-downs are all very flashy, you can spend several minutes doing the same one combo over and over and over again. While there are combos you can do later in the game, they don't take much skill, and they're not really there for damage. The game series closest to this game is Fable. If you liked Fable 2, you'll probably like this.

Are you dissatisfied with the lack of barely clothed anime girls in regular games? Do you feel like real girls just don't attract you the way you used to because you're too busy watching hentai and looking up erotic fanfiction? Do you have a fetish for monster girls? Look no further neckbeards, I have the game for you. This game specifically designed for use of one hand has the perfect mixture of eroticly dressed fictional monster girls, sexual moans which would make most normal people gouge their eardrums out with a rusty fork after hearing them for 50 times, and 10 amazing 99 cent DLC's which add yet more revealing clothing specifically for your custom dress-up waifu. This free to play game has everything a lonely anime-obsessed virgin could ask for, so get it now!

This underated gem is well worth the money. This game consists of silliness, 4th wall breaking, delightful gameplay, amusing characters, an amazing soundtrack, and an interesting array of individual creatures to fight. While it isn't a perfect game, the game doesn't take up a lot of space and it will definately keep you entertained throughout your playthrough. There is one minor complaint that I have and that would be how when you start a new game, the options in order go, normal, easy, hard, insane. Other than that minor nitpicky detail, I honestly cannot complain about this game and I look forward to continuing it.

This game was like having a friend hand you a revolver with a grip that stabs into your hand with spikes who then says that you're going to play one-man russian roulette. The logical choice would clearly be to not play and find better friends, but if you held out till the end like I did for this game, you'd see that the revolver was full of blanks. I honestly thought there would be some sort of twist in the story, a "Bang" so to speak. something to break the boring atmosphere and something to give the clunky controls worth, but there was no solace. In fact, the story makes no sense as you are tying to "bring water to a thirsty land" yet every mission has waterfalls and rivers. The enemies are slow and easy to kill, but the only way you'll end up dying in this game is with the platforming. It's easy platforming, but the character will just rocket to any direction you set him towards. For instance, in most games, turning around while jumping might slow you down just enough to allow you to land. turning around here would be like using the portal gun to rocket you backwards through the power of momentum. I'm just lucky I didn't have to actually pay for this game.

I do not recommend this game for anyone over the age of 8. There is little to no challenge even on the highest difficulty, the voices are dreadfully squeaky and annoying and the music is barely tolerable. I bought this game for 29 cents and I still feel as if it was a complete waste of money.

Gameplay's solid, but the story writers and character designers should be shot. You can tell they handed off this game to a bunch of DEI hires due to all the forced quirky diversity, LGBT pandering, and inability to make a character customization system that doesn't make your human character look ugly as sin. Seriously, stop pandering to ugly people by making the drifter customization a pick between two equally fugly faces and blending them together to attempt to salvage something decent.

I don't even like this game anymore, I'm just in an abusive relationship with it, hoping for the days when good story and lore was the focus. Every single time I come back for a new update, I just feel such immense disappointment as I watch the game get progressively worse. I guess that's what being a "progressive" means to game devs?
