My review remains the same. The game features HEAVY microtransactions. However, a word of warning. Anything you buy for this game has a small chance to disappear randomly, and you'll have to go through a bit of a process to have a chance at getting it back. If the DLC were purchased through steam, you'd have a lot more security with your transactions, but as it stands currently there is no way to be certain that the money you spend today will mean nothing tomorrow. As of right now, I've had to go to kablam's website once to get my account up and running again, and thankfully I haven't spent a dime on this game. If there is any way for kablam to tie DLC purchases to steam, I'd be a little more comfortable recommending this game.

My only complaint is that sometimes it feels like there's just too many enemy waves per room. Other than that, great art, great story, great gameplay.

Thanks for taking care of the bots, valve.

If you're ever going to do any more balance changes, I beg you, please only buff the underused weapons of this game. You already took away the sandman/cleaver combo. You made the base jumper useless and removed the fun "fire makes you float" mechanic. You made the bison worthless. The pomson is hot garbage. The ambassador was already hard to use at range and you nerfed that. The caber has been massacred. The sticky jumper was gimped despite very few maps benefiting from having 8 stickies out. The your eternal reward didn't need the cloak drain *at all*. The enforcer is basically worthless outside of 3 hyperspecific scenarios. The Gloves of Running Urgently and the Eviction Notice did *not* need health drain and I fail to see how getting the slowest class in the game able to participate in the game quicker is a negative. The cleaners carbine is just straight up worse than the smg when it used to do a good job of cleaning up kills and being rewarded for doing so.

There are way more examples of poor decisions made by the balancing team but I'll leave it with this. Despite all of the nerfs, despite all of the buffs, and despite all you've done to try to cater to the competitive players of this game. They still have a weapon ban list. You cannot please competitve players. You can at least let the rest of us have fun. Are random crits and sandman stuns and spam fair? maybe not. Are they tf2? abso-effing-lutely.

As other folks have said, buy the original and play that. I haven't gotten any crashes thankfully, but I've had a ton of audio errors. I got the "have fun with the big daddy little fish" line, multiple times in the cutscene after you inject adam into yourself, atlas didn't say anything about the little sister to the point I thought I had soft locked my game, and andrew ryan sounded like he was whispering at me menacingly as he sent splicers at me.

Also one of the splicers said "I'm just getting warmed up" as he was on fire. 10/10

But seriously, just play the original, the original's graphics weren't bad to begin with, and if you're one of those people who worship graphics over gameplay, you are everything that's wrong with the gaming industry, and I don't consider you to be a human being.

It's an Idle game. You run it when you're doing other stuff, and it gives you little snippets of story to encourage playing more. The fact that an idle game has microtransations is worth laughing at though.

Despite the 1900 hour playtime, 99.99% of that time was when I was either away from my computer, watching anime/youtube, and browsing memes all for the sake of maybe seeing what happens next or what gets unlocked next. But I'll spoil it for all of you; nothing interesting happens. The story continues to be references and memes.

I love this game so much. I'm going to start with the negatives since that's a much shorter list.
1: The very VERY first loading screen takes a very long time for some reason. I'm not sure if this is due to it connecting to bethesda.net or something, but I sat waiting for easily 5 minutes the very first time I booted up the game. other people have this issue as well, and it only happens on the very first time you boot up the game.
2: The sensitivity you start off on is very low. Also, counter-intuitively, the first settings you see for sensitivity are going to be the ones for gamepad rather than keyboard. Make sure you click the keyboard tab before you facepalm.
3: Delilah being the antagonist of this game makes Brigmore Witches feel a little less important.

Now onto all of the things I like.
1: You now have several ways for non-lethal takedowns
2: New Game+ allows you to use the powers of both protagonists
3: Garrett's voice actor now voices Corvo.
4: The optional "no powers" run is now properly built around.
5: There's now a stats screen at any point in the game that lets you see if you've been detected or have accidentally killed anyone. This makes getting that "No Kills, Never Spotted" achievement significantly less frustrating and there's far less ambiguity around what counts as being detected and what counts as a kill. (no more worrying about whether or not you should be killing river krusts!)

There are far more things I could say, but I think it's just best for people to experience it themselves.

Fun to play with friends, the single player favors the bots in every scenario. The bots also have an infuriating way of ganging up on the player regardless of which bot is winning. Doesn't seem to matter how many stars, wins, or normas you have, bots will always use their hyper or damage dealing cards to target you.

This game is coming along nicely. If possible, I'd like more skill trees to be added, Quest NPC locations to always be specified in the journal, an option to examine an item and see exactly what it's used in, and the ability to use talent points to directly influence stamina and mana. As of right now, there's really only an option to increase player health and regen and having to wait for your 50 mana to recharge takes time.

Aside from these nitpicks, the game is pretty decent, and I look forward to see what they decide to add next!

Has potential, but it's not much of an RPG. It's honestly just a clicker with more steps in between clicking. If there were more RPG elements, It'd be a far more enjoyable experience. The main thing that has me continuing on is mostly secret hunting, the actual gameplay kinda sucks.

Give the player more to do with leveling up, otherwise, it can hardly be called a role playing game in the traditional sense.

Still incomplete, so keep that in mind. The humor falls a little flat, and the story just kinda exists.
I think that as of right now, talents, abilities, and all that need a bit of a buff. I care so little about leveling up my character because none of the abilities are really worth striving for. I wanted to play more of a summoner type character where I stack passives and minions on myself, but the minions are dreadfully weak. you'll end up just spamming attack on enemies and sloooooowly watching their health bar drain away. The fights get a little confusing since there's so much going on, and you'll find yourself most likely spamming health potions. I'd say if there was more reason to grind, it'd be a much more enjoyable experience.



Been a while since I first posted this review. None of the issues I've had with this game have been addressed, and the damage sponge enemy problem seems to be only getting worse.
