I've played this game for several years through the non Steam launcher version, then installed it through Steam in order to leave this review.

The developers have shown a considerable amount of just pure and raw contempt for the playerbase. The most recent economy changes have made it almost unbearable to play, even those playing with premium time and vehicles and boosters have found it difficult to make meaningful gains in Silver Lions, the general purpose in game currency. Increases in repair costs, that outpace the Silver Lion multipliers for successful actions in a match being one of the more egregious. The developers response to this, and economy changes (and other controversial decisions) in the past has more often than not been to insult and talk down to the player base.

There is such an incredible amount of monetization in this game, one would thing that the developers might look to take a closer interest in what the players have to say, but more often then not player, and even community contributor suggestion is ignored, if not laughed at. Battle rating compression, fire extinguishers and repair parts, numerous vehicles that are near carbon copies of the previous one, but you still must research every component of once again. Those are just some of the issues I've had the most issue with myself, but are also ones that many in the playerbase have voiced their concerns and aggravation about.

Overall I do not recommend this game, if that was not already obvious. From the in game reward mechanics that often leave a player with little to nothing to show for even a decent match, to monetization practices that seem to only get worse as time goes and penetrating nearly every single aspect and mechanic within the game making it so that playing for free can be an obnoxiously difficult and almost impossible to make meaningful progress after a relatively short amount of time playing leaving much of the game inaccessible.
