I purchased NMS as a pre-order and started playing Day 1. I stopped playing rather quickly due to the lack of fulfillment of promises made by Hello Games. I played on and off over the course of the next 5 years as updates were released.

Fast forward to today... Of the 167 hours I've played NMS about 120 of them have been in the last 4 weeks. This game, at least for me, is finally what I thought I was purchasing 5 years ago. Actual Multiplayer, Base Building, Pets, planet base vehicles, underwater content, community events... If you have been skeptical about getting NMS due to all the negative reviews over the past few years, I say took a look at it now. NMS is well worth the price tag now and with so much content added since Day 1 and much more content to come I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good, generally stress free, space exploration game.
