Little Inferno is a ~quirky~ game where you click and burn objects for around 3 hours (or 6 with DLC). The DLC adds a holiday theme but doesn't significantly change the gameplay as the story is more or less the same outline but with a different character. It can be relaxing if you enjoy offbeat stories, but I cannot recommend paying more than $5 for it. It really just feels like a mobile game port without microtransactions. The art style and story were just strange... not bad, but not good either. It feels like its being quirky for quirkys sake.

I feel like the most I can rate this is a 3/10

Portal is a timeless masterpiece, a classic first-person puzzle game that remains captivating to this day. The enduring memes, like "The Cake is a lie," showcase its significance. Revisiting the game on PC after playing it years ago on Xbox 360 was just as fun as the first time, especially pursuing the challenging "___ Science" achievements (I would 100% recommend a guide for those). The game's humor holds up remarkably well even for a game that came out before the Rage Comic era or internet humor. If you haven't played Portal yet, grab it and prepare for an unforgettable experience. It's a true masterpiece that has left an indelible mark on the gaming landscape.

10/10 an amazing game.

Its just a great game, I would HIGHLY recommend not looking anything up about this game until you beat it for the first time, the characters are great and the soundtrack just slaps.

Before Your Eyes is a cute, story-driven game about a boy named Benny and his life, told by a narrator from after his death. It is a touching story that has a lot of heartfelt moments but also includes a few dark situations. There is little to no action, with the only controls being mouse movement and blinking/clicking. It plays much like a choose-your-own-adventure book would. The music in this game is great; it is very calming, and I have found myself listening to the soundtrack on Spotify while playing other games. The art style isn't anything cutting-edge, but I like it and think it fits the style of the game. I would recommend this game to artistic types, people who love deep stories, or those who want to transition into gaming from books or movies. The achievements are relatively easy to obtain, requiring at least two playthroughs (for one, I would recommend looking up a guide due to its complexity). For $10, I would say it was worth it. It's not a game I would recommend to everyone, but if you are looking for a story that will give you a cozy night with a blanket and some hot chocolate, this is a great choice.

All in all a 6/10

Slime Rancher is a super cute and charming game that falls into the "farming sim" or "monster collector" genre. You can fully automate your ranch using research and slime "plorts", and the designs of the slimes are adorable and creative. It's a relaxing and enjoyable experience that allows you to see your progress on the ranch. While the story is more of an assortment of letters and is somewhat disconnected from the gameplay, it doesn't diminish the overall enjoyment. The in-game listing of achievements is a convenient feature, eliminating the need to exit the game to track progress. Some achievements, particularly the rush mode ones, can be challenging but rewarding. If you're looking for a delightful break from your daily routine and love cute creatures, Slime Rancher is a must-play game in the farming sim genre.

I wholeheartedly believe this is a 9/10. Good blobby boys

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TAB-S) is an incredibly deep game that offers hours of engaging gameplay. It took me around 3-4 hours to discover that you can possess your units, adding a whole new level of immersion. With a wide range of units and the ability to create custom battles, the game fosters creativity and experimentation. The unpredictable outcomes and freedom to explore new strategies make it highly replayable. The campaign mode is enjoyable and creatively designed, allowing players to gradually learn about each unit as they progress. I had a great time uncovering hidden items to unlock additional units and maps, adding even more variety to the game. However, some of the achievements, particularly the ones requiring beating each of a campaigns mission without losing any of them, can be quite challenging and frustrating. If you're seeking a lighthearted and laughter-filled experience, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is an excellent choice. It guarantees entertainment and surprises, providing an immersive and engaging gameplay experience that will keep you hooked.

I think TAB-S deserves an 8/10.

Hidden in Plain Sight is a multiplayer party game that heavily relies on the quality of your local friend group. It offers minimal controls, making it accessible for friends and family. The visuals and music are average, neither groundbreaking nor disappointing. The game does provide moments of deception and deduction, but its lack of a single-player mode and online connectivity limits its potential. It requires a minimum of 2 controllers, as keyboard support is absent. At a price of $6, it feels overpriced; a fair value would be around $2.50. Hidden in Plain Sight can be a fun addition to local game nights, but it's not a guaranteed hit. If you're specifically looking for a simple multiplayer experience, it might be worth considering, but be prepared for the extra steps required to play this Xbox port.

I think this game deserves a 4/10 as it can be pretty fun with the right people.

Doki Doki Literature Club is a captivating visual novel that takes an unexpected twist, blending lightheartedness with psychological horror. The storytelling is its strongest aspect, weaving a compelling narrative filled with emotional depth and surprises. The well-developed characters have intriguing backstories and secrets to uncover. While gameplay is minimal, and the story takes a bit of time to get started the gripping plot and well-crafted characters make up for it. The charming artwork and perfectly matched music enhance the overall experience. This game delves into dark themes, exploring depression and mental instability. Being free to download, Doki Doki Literature Club offers an incredible and thought-provoking experience that pushes the boundaries of the visual novel genre. Prepare for a rollercoaster of emotions and a story that will leave a lasting impact.

I give this game a 7/10

The Looker is a first-person puzzle game where the objective is to connect point A to point B. It offers a few interesting solutions and presents some challenging puzzles. I completed it in about 1.5 hours, but I don't anticipate playing it again due to its limited replayability. The achievements are relatively easy, and you can obtain them all in a single playthrough, with one that may require a few attempts. It's a great game to have your friends play to see their reaction to the ending. I initially played it with a controller, which turned out to be a poor choice; it's much better to use a mouse and keyboard.

Overall, the maze game is funny, 7/10.
