Early Access Review
This is a pulse-pounding survival horror game by Endnight Games, building on the success of its predecessor, The Forest. Stranded in a remote wilderness after a helicopter crash, players must scavenge for resources, build shelters, and fend off terrifying creatures.

The game's dynamic environment, ranging from dense forests to eerie abandoned structures, keeps players on edge with its day-night cycle and weather system. Combat is visceral, requiring players to use weapons and traps to survive encounters with mutants and other threats.

What sets Sons of the Forest apart is its weird but gripping narrative and more action-oriented elements.

With stunning visuals and immersive sound design, "Sons of the Forest" delivers an unforgettable adventure into darkness, perfect for fans of intense survival horror experiences.

Embark on a quest to rescue a kidnapped daughter and end up in a remote village.

From the moment you enter the village, the atmosphere is reminiscent of RE4, with each location crafted to evoke fear and isolation.

The game boasts stunning visuals, with lifelike environments and characters immersing players deeper into the horror. Combat is intense as you confront grotesque enemies and towering monstrosities, armed with an arsenal of weapons.

What sets Resident Evil Village apart is its captivating storyline, rife with twists and turns that keep players guessing. Ethan's journey forces him to confront his fears and make difficult choices that shape his fate.

A game that breathed new life into the survival horror genre and giving players a terrifying journey through the Baker family's haunting plantation. As Ethan Winters, you're on a desperate quest to find your missing wife, Mia. The game's first-person perspective pulls you into the horror, with creepy environments and intense combat keeping you on edge.

You'll face off against psychotic family members and grotesque creatures in a fight for survival. But it's the gripping storytelling and back to the basics that sets Resident Evil 7 apart. Visually stunning and with top-notch sound design, this game is a must-play for horror fans old and new.

Set in the Arklay Mountains near Raccoon City, players control S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team medic Rebecca Chambers and ex-Marine Billy Coen. The game thrusts players into a tense atmosphere as they navigate eerie environments, solve puzzles, and battle horrifying creatures.

A standout feature of Resident Evil 0 is its innovative "partner zapping" system. This allows players to switch between Rebecca and Billy on the fly, utilizing their unique abilities to solve puzzles together. This dynamic mechanic adds depth and encourages strategic cooperation.

Visually, Resident Evil 0 looks like the HD remake of RE1. The haunting soundtrack further immerses players in the experience, enhancing the sense of dread and tension.

Combat is intense and challenging, with limited resources adding to the survival horror aspect. Players must manage their inventory carefully and choose battles wisely as they confront hordes of undead creatures.

Despite its age, Resident Evil 0 remains a classic addition to the series, offering a compelling narrative, engaging gameplay, and atmospheric world-building. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to survival horror, Resident Evil 0 promises a thrilling gaming experience.

It was a game changer in survival horror, bringing a thrilling experience set in a rural European village. As Leon S. Kennedy, players face grotesque enemies while rescuing the President's daughter, Ashley Graham. The game's over-the-shoulder camera perspective revolutionized gameplay, offering immersive combat encounters.

Controls are intuitive, balancing action and horror, requiring players to manage resources and navigate traps. For it's time visually stunning, with detailed characters and haunting environments, the game's narrative delves into conspiracy and redemption. With its groundbreaking mechanics and gripping storyline, Resident Evil 4 remains a classic that captivates players, both old and new, with its thrilling experience.

It's a letdown compared to both the original game and its predecessor, the Resident Evil 2 Remake. This reimagining of the survival horror classic fails to meet the high standards set by its predecessor.

As Jill Valentine, players return to Raccoon City's zombie-filled streets, but the experience lacks the depth and immersion of the original game. The story feels shallow, leaving players feeling disconnected from the events.

Gameplay mechanics are uninspired, offering little innovation from the Resident Evil 2 Remake. Combat encounters are repetitive, with few new features to engage players. The lack of variety in enemies makes the game feel monotonous.

Visually, the Resident Evil 3 Remake falls short in innovation. While it captures Raccoon City's atmosphere, it fails to deliver the same level of immersion and grandeur as the original game.

Overall, the Resident Evil 3 Remake disappoints. Lacking in gameplay innovation and narrative depth, it feels like a missed opportunity rather than a worthy addition to the series.

However, if it's on sale and you enjoyed the Resident Evil 2 Remake, it's worth getting the game.

It's a survival horror game with gripping storytelling, intense gameplay, and memorable characters.

The game boasts stunning high-definition graphics, updated character models, and immersive environments that enhance the horror experience from the original RE4.

While preserving the original's essence, anticipate smoother controls, refined aiming, and inventory management akin to the original.

The remake stays true to the original story while expanding on it, with revamped cutscenes, voice acting, and additional backstory to deepen the characters and plot.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a masterclass in remakes, continuing the amazing remakes from the RE franchise. Combining classic elements with modern technology, it delivers an unforgettable experience for both series veterans and newcomers to survival horror.

Right from the start, I was hooked. The characters are quirky, and the situations are just ridiculous. The story revolves around the Halcyon system, which is owned by big corporations. As a human from an old Earth colony ship, you awaken to find yourself in this weird and unique world.

Now, let's talk gameplay. It's all about making choices and dealing with what comes next. And those choices really pack a punch! You never know what's around the corner, and that's what keeps it exciting.

Sure, the combat can feel a bit awkward sometimes. But overall, The Outer Worlds is a blast. It's funny, it's unpredictable, and it's just plain silly at times. Plus, with so many paths and decisions to make, you'll be glued to your screen for hours.

Also, don't forget the two DLCs; they're great additions to the game.

One negative thing I experienced, though, was a huge memory leak, which I think they have now fixed, but yeah, that made the game lag even on the lowest of settings.

I can't wait for Outer Worlds 2.

Once you dive into Garden Warfare 2's wacky world, you don't want to head back to the real world. The plant and zombie characters are bursting with personality, each with their own cool abilities. Whether you're defending your garden as a plant or causing chaos as a zombie, it's always exciting.

The game offers a variety of modes, from teaming up with friends in multiplayer battles to tackling solo missions. And with new characters, maps, and customization options, the fun never stops.

Gameplay is fast-paced and addictively fun. Whether you're zapping zombies with a pea shooter or unleashing rockets as a zombie, every moment is exhilarating. Plus, there are plenty of upgrades and unlockables to keep you hooked.

Visually, Garden Warfare 2 is a treat. The vibrant colors and charming art style really bring the world to life. And the attention to detail in the characters and environments is top-notch.

If you're looking for a great kid-friendly shooter with loads of game modes, consider this game one of the best!
