Okay, I'm mixed on this being a Dragon Age game, but it's still fun nonetheless.

I went into this watching no advertisement, I get too hyped easily and I knew it wouldn't reach the heights of DA:O. HOWEVER, this is probably the most streamlined and intense the combat has been in the series.

I really enjoy this games combat, the characters are serviceable, and the story feels like it's there to push the action. Visually it's stunning, I have some ''''minor'''' performance issues (Having to play on low, using a 3050 OEM, 36 GB RAM, and i5-11400F @ 2.60 GHZ),

I really enjoy the combat loop. It's fast, flashy, and holds up really well as an action-rpg.

Now for the story, while I've played the others and follow/understand the plot... it doesn't feel like Dragon Age. That grittiness and bleakness you felt in the earlier games are gone, and it feels a lot more lighthearted then even Inquisition. It feels as if the world of Thedas has modernized. It's a weird vibe.

TLDR, Great Combat, great visuals, alright story, serviceable characters.

Excellent idea, but performance is a bit jank and water mechanic needs to be changed or altered.

Game good, epic bad. Not a fan of thirty FPS to play but I don't mind it. Having a good time.

My major gripes are the Epic Requirement, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ they don't list it, but otherwise I'm having a blast.

I don't like extraction shooters, but this scratches a very strange itch I never knew I had. Really fun solo, feels like a horror game, but with other teams of players and from what I Gathered, at least 2 player aliens hunt you down.

I hear a lot of criticism about how the alien is very weak compared to humans, but I don't see an issue as it feels like the Alien is meant to whittle mercs down over time until eventually killing, given the alien respawns.

Nailgun is an interesting starter weapon, and I love the mechanics that differentiate itself.

My only gripe is that it feels like it takes way too long to get an actual weapon, but from what I've seen there's very few and in most engagements you'll be fighting nailgun VS nailgun with varying types of ammo.

Very excited to see this games future and grow.

A pleasant surprise. This is better at the Payday formula then Payday itself.

That being said, don't expect Payday 3 going in. The game plays much like a rogue-like shooter with various objectives, ranging from gang shootouts, traditional Payday-style heists, and small jobs such as robbing compounds, gas stations, etc.

There is also a management side to things as you hire soldiers to take over territory, as well as a small pseudo-market that you sell the goods you steal on - But be careful as the entire thing is permadeath.

The multiplayer side of things plays much like normal Heist-'em-ups, with a persistent bank balance that remains between sessions/deaths, the missions are free-pick in the multiplayer. (Also features a server browser!)

There is no real downside to playing multiplayer as a solo, as the bots and AI are competent most of the time, and you still progress if you private your lobby and fill it with bots.

I highly recommend this to people who enjoyed Payday but were let down by 3, and are seeking a heisting game to fill that void.

Played only for a short time, but combat feels extremely jank and unfun, and it controls the exact same as Stride. I'm only two missions in, but the combat was what drew me in as it seemed like Mirrors Edge but VR mixed with John Wick.

Maybe it'll feel good for you, but for me, It's not great.
