Utterly amazing. Story, gameplay, sidequests, minigame with managing your own fortress - everything in this game is done very well and with attention to detail. At first tried Pillars of Eternity a few years ago, and I did't quite like it at first because of a lot of text and combat mechanics that was hard for me to get used to. So I dropped it. But in 2020 I decided to try it again for some reason. And I'm really glad I did. If you can manage to get through some text at the beginning to get engaged in the story you will not be disappointed. And combat becomes really interesting too, after you got the hang of it. The main plot and the world that surrounds it are so exciting I couldn't stop playing. It is one of those rare games when I'm even interested in reading in game mini-books that provide some additional lore. Usualy I don't read these books in games but in PoE I read almost every one that I could find. Also there is a lot of variativity. Your decisions really does matter, both just minor dialogs and major main plot ones. Your character has a reputation, both global and related to factions in game and it changes how the world perceives you.

In conclusion - one of the best games I've ever played.

So if you are seeing this game for the first time or have doubts about it, just buy it and you'll not regret it. And if you alredy decided to do so here is some tips for the game:
1. Use slow down button for combat, it will help making tactics while not spamming pause button every 0.5 seconds.
2. Try to make a full party(6 characters) as fast as you can, there is no reason for having less than maximum party size. New companions are not hard to find, usualy when you enter the location they are marked at map. There is also an option to make custom companions, but they don't have backstories and personal quests so you'll miss some content if you you'll be using them.
