So this was a positive review, It isn't now.

Warframe is developed by Digital Extremes. A largish company with a lot of money and some seriously big backing in the form of their parent company.

They are treated and given credit like an indie dev, They're not. Not anymore.
And as a result, The whole years wait for what amounts to an hour of story content isn't acceptable.
The endless amounts of guns that make Borderlands blush most of which as just there as grind filler with the hope you'll just buy them with plat is tired and old.
The community team is a bit off.

The gameplay loop is the same and Warframe can be a good bit of fun, It looks and plays great but the focus is on releasing their quarterly prime access and dribble of other monetisation content with the odd update providing something new or revamping something old.

With the money they are making they could be putting a lot more into both frankly.
