This FREE game is short, but somewhat tense, but also easy to clear. The level design and "puzzles" aren't hard at all, but the ambiance is pretty scary for casual players.
Considering this a prelude to a full horror game, I hope the end product is good, as long as it improves on ... pretty much everything...
The music design from Mikko Tarmia is great, regardless of the game quality!

I can honestly say this is not a good game. I haven't played much of it, but I already don't want to anymore.

Good:
- Premise
- I can see some of the story and gameplay ideas being great if they were developed properly (for example combat abilities)
- Some models
- Music and ambience is decent

Bad:
- Crashes
- Some models (decent in one scene, bad in the next + a lot of reskins)
- Some animations (for example the short clip of the car speeding away, which you see repeated within a short period of time)
- Voice acting is awkward and monotonous a lot of the time
- Combat; controls and internal cooldowns (heavy hit, dodge) feel awkward, boss moves are sometimes unpredictable and undodgeable with you sometimes taking damage seemingly before even getting hit.
- Power levels seem off..?

All in all it feels like they rushed through a lot of aspects of the game or didn't double check whether things worked and meshed well. Has potential if they ever remake it.
Prototype 2 (which is 7 years older than this) feels like a much better version of this game.

I wish I could say a good thing about this so far, yet 150 floors in there has not been a single thing that interested me, surprised me or has made me want to play this game even for a few seconds longer. I have seen a handful of cute .png "jumpscares" which were jumpy but not scary. The paths were repetitive, the "scares" were crappy and nothing made me want to play this game any longer than I have.
The music is fine, I guess.
The graphics are lackluster, very repetitive.
The gameplay is bad, extremely repetitive.
I'm sure there are a couple of interesting points during this game, but the wait isn't worth it.

[Only based on solo-play base game]
A relatively short, but very fun game. The story and its background are very interesting and are incorporated into a digital environment creatively. The combination of art styles is a big advantage in terms of storytelling.
The gameplay can sometimes be frustrating since the character control and AI (in solo play) can sometimes feel awkward and/or do things you don't want. Besides that the mechanics are fairly simple and there are still some challenges.

This recommendation is made very carefully and with some apprehension.
The game is easy to use and relatively close to the real life version of the game, even though there is very limited guidance with the interface and main functions of the game.
I wish there were a few more user-friendly options like:
- Blocking trades with a specific player.
- A larger map (or a customization for it) within the base game (which still requires money to be spent).

Pros:
- Decent graphics.
- Nice music, even though it can get repetitive.
- Fairly straight-forward menus and interactions.
- Feels relatively close to the base physical game.

Cons:
- There regularly are bugs which either terminate, prevent the launch of or ruin game sessions. Since game sessions can last very long, this can be very annoying.
- The coins and scrolls system is very off-putting and beyond the base game, doesn't give much incentive to invest money and/or time into the game. Customization is very limited and requires either a bunch of money or a lot of time. Specifics on unlocking certain customizations aren't given at all.
- Tutorials are very limited and a lot of useful functions aren't explained and/or highlighted.

Casual enjoyment is positive, but only barely.

A very beautifully made game. The environments, the storytelling, the colours, the music and the animals are really, really good. There are a few issues here and there; voice lines playing over each other, skipping an area and getting stuck on invisible walls, etc. But those are mostly just minor.
Just taking in the different areas, the animals and their behaviours, flying or swimming freely are great fun and can be a breath of fresh air after some darker moments in the story.
