ive seen many videos of people playing multiplayer on it and got the game for that reason but idk how to do it

I had tried out this game once. And well, escaping my cell was a bit hard but I figured it out. Then when I'm trying to escape the area, a monster burst through somewhere and cycles around the small area of the room with tables and cells lining the walls. I have no clue where I'm supposed to go after the monster appears! Where?! I know to stay out of it's sight, but there's no telling where to go. Please can someone tell me what to do? Please be kind to me....
