Yes there are performance issues currently. You can mess with some settings to help things run more smoothly and I’m sure they’ll release updates to make it better altogether. Despite that, my last MH game was World and I struggled to enjoy it.

Wilds however blows World out of the park and I’ve loved exploring and fighting the monsters. The story is much more interesting and the gameplay feels much more fluid. Many qol improvements as well.

Gemma is hot.

Some slight performance issues but the pros heavily make up for it. The characters feel like real kids. It has great representation and I find myself relating to each of the characters in different ways. Even the side characters have depth. The music creates such a nostalgic atmosphere. The visuals do the same and help it all to feel real in a way, like the videos I’m taking actually happened. Wonderful stuff, I’m super excited for the next chapter!

Do know that the multiplayer mode is purely sandbox.

However, single-player has a great story, great characters, music, combat, and even the chores are fun!

Very fun, very challenging, great potential.
