Ys I review

Just completed this game a few days ago. Im sure there are many haters on this Ys entry, but can you fault falcom? its a remake/remaster (IDK) of an 1989 game. It has quite a few flaws that would turn away beginners like the bump system and the ASS lvling system it has, but once u get pass the first few lvls, the game gets much enjoyable. SCREW FINAL BOSS (PLAY THIS GAME AT 60 FPS OR LOWER). Other than the last fight, I enjoyed my time in Ys 1, it is a relatively short game. 8.5/10

on a side note, Ys 2 is much more balance compared to Ys 1.

Ys II review (Finished)

Feels much better to play than Ys 1, but almost impossible to play without a map of the dungeons available, please dont torture yourself so that you can "experience it blind". Having exoerience the bump system in Ys I, its easier to get into II, and the story is more mysterious, secrets unravel as you progress the story. 10/10 way better than Ys 1, but wouldnt be complete without playing 1 first

P.S Finished the game, and really teared up at the end knowing how the rest of the series went

Even though the YS series has been one of Falcom's longest running game, its sad to see that its popularity does not reach that of the legend of heroes series. Ys Origin was a blast to play, retro (sort of) but modern at the same time, I really like the lvling system and the fact that u could play different characters to experience their side of the story. Anyways, Ys X localisation is coming out soon, hopefully the series gets the recognition it deserves! 11/10

Story surprisingly have some depth, enjoyed the game with my coop duo!

A classic must play FPS Robot shooter, sad I missed out when multiplayer was at its peak, but it was worth buying just to play the campaign

I almost lost my friend 10/10

1st ever monster hunter game played, was thoroughly impressed by the gameplay, definitely was hard at the start but as you keep playing it gets easier and more fun
