This is a great G-rank/master rank expansion to Monster Hunter Rise which introduces new locale and monsters to hunt. It is in my opinion longer and more enjoyable than the base game due to its harder difficulty, and more rewarding end game content.

Terrible matchmaking.

A nice relaxing game with a unique take on the arcade sailing genre, not many like it out there.

In all seriousness, this game has little to no players online at any given time, depending on the servers. Its popularity stems from its meme capability. The best way I could describe this game is that it’s the type you would buy due to the influence of your friends, play once, and then forget about. Its price definitely reflects its content.

In my opinion, this Monster Hunter title has the best combat system in the franchise. The addition of wirebugs and switch skills has made combat very customizable and fast-paced, in contrast to the previous titles. However, I do miss the more alive and immersive locales that MH World brought. Despite being a game that was originally intended for the Nintendo Switch, it’s still an amazing experience and I highly recommend it for both newcomers and seasoned hunters.

This is probably the best game to play with your significant other. The game offers a touching story, accompanied by an immersive semi-open world that is filled to the brim with interactables and challenges.
