MK: Injustice Edition
Overall, MK11 is a solid game for what it is, a fighter. You have a great story mode (by fighting game standards), decent online mode, and bombastic flow of combat. However, it's pretty clear that as soon as NRS launched MK9, bringing back the franchise from the dead, NRS is slowly killing it again with MK11. It feels less like a Mortal Kombat, and more of a super hero fighter. In fact, I'd say this game feels farther away from that klassic MK feel, than any other in the series.

I cannot in good faith recommend this to anyone, because it doesnt serve anyone any good. It spits in the face of the fans, and does little to pull in others. That, along with multiple sleezy microtransactions, and a clear political agenda to boot. While MK9 sported the copy/paste pornstar bodies of all the female characters, this does the opposite with the same tame, frumpy, small chested bodies for every one of them. Even if the characters weren't covered from head to toe, I'd see sexier bodies in female mma.

As a long time fan of MK, who never misses a single release, I regret purchasing this.

For any video game connoisseur, you'll notice a plethora of bits and pieces from genres here & there. Of course, none of them are done correctly, and end up being a mix of disappointments.

It has Minecraft elements, done terribly.
Horribly performed story, trying to be Mass Effect.
A loot system much like Borderlands, but not as interesting.

All this combined with a lack luster perk system, doesn't give much replayability to an RPG series that... promotes replayability...

I acquired the vast culture, of this new world. Delved into the story of the land. Then gathered a small party of colorful characters... Then got murdered by a pack of wolves.

10/10 - Would die again.

Tons of fun, and free. Reminds me of playing cards at my local game store.
